This was our first holiday in Northumberland it's a beautiful location. Plenty to do and everywhere is so clean. The beaches rival Cornwall. Most places are dog friendly recommend Warkworth Castle. We had a wonderful week.

Lovely little cottage, ideal for a couple or a couple with a small child. Immaculately clean. Lots of thought has gone into equipping it for a great short break.

We have stayed in this cottage before. It is small but very compact with absolutely everything you need. We had a lovely welcome pack and so did our pooch. It is within easy walking distance to Craster which also hosts two lovely restaurants.

I came up by myself just with my dog and found everything I needed in the cottage. Was a bit lonely as no one walks passed cottage but overall enjoyed.

We have stayed here four times now and we love it. Perfect size for us three and the dog. Beautiful homely touches and very comfortable. Will always stay here when we are in Northumberland.

Wow, what a wonderful cottage! For once a holiday let exceeded my expectations. Small but perfectly formed, clean and attractive. I found it to be well equipped for my stay and be comfortable when a family of 4 joined me for dinner. Well located between Northumberland coast and the A1 with easy access to so many places. I did visit 4 castles, a priory, a large garden, a big historic house and miles of super coastline and beaches. It even has television with internet access – useful for any dull not-going-out days. The welcome pack was an unexpected bonus; wine, local coffee, home-made jam, biscuits. So I had a great week. Thank you Cherry Cottage.

Beautifully kept cottage, high standard of fittings and spotlessly clean. Close to the pub but no noise from there at all. Nice walk into Craster for the very good seafood restaurant and pub and also the fantastic Dunstanburgh Castle. Good location for the whole area too.

Couldn’t be better, we always have a lovely time at Cherry Cottage. There’s really nothing that hasn’t been thought of in terms of comfort, and the cleanliness is the best of anywhere we’ve ever been. Great location, and a bonus to have the car parking space.

Cherry Tree cottage is situated in a lovely village which has a great dog friendly pub where the food is excellent. Ideal for exploring the spectacular coastline, and great walks. The cottage is small and compact, very clean and inviting well equipped with everything you could want. It is an ideal holiday cottage for 2 or 3 people. There is no garden but if you have a dog there is a footpath a few yards down which just means you have to put them on a lead to take them out.

Absolutely fabulous cottage in a magnificent and, much under rated area of the UK. The area has many superb beaches numerous castles and historic sites as well as boat trips to wildlife havens such as the Farne Islands. Not forgetting great pubs, super food and very friendly locals. Re food, do not miss the Craster kippers! A local speciality which elevates the humble smoked herring to a much higher status. The cottage itself was finished and fitted out to an extremely high and tasteful standard especially for holiday accommodation. There was plenty of space to accommodate three adults in luxurious comfort. The welcome basket, including wine was a very much appreciated bonus. The only slight downside, which did not affect our visit was the lack of outside space, though this was pointed out in details. This was our first visit to Northumberland, really enjoyed every aspect of the area and very impressed. We will be back.

Don't mix up reviews for Beech, Ash, Larch, Holly Cottages with Cherry. They may all look like they are run by the same people but they aren't. And some of the reviews for the others had us concerned. But Cherry Cottage is different, and we simply could not fault it in any respect. The standard of cleanliness and fixtures and fittings is superb. The décor throughout seemed months old at most. Everything was quality. Whoever services the cottage deserves credit for the standard of preparation of the cottage for our stay. There is so much that seemed over and above what we expected. And it was in a great location too. We wouldn't just recommend Cherry Cottage. We might well go back soon, ourselves.

A lovely little cottage with lots of nice touches. A well-equipped kitchen area for your every need. The bottle of wine, biscuits and jam were a lovely gesture, as were the doggie treats. Would definitely recommend.
