Every detail has been carefully considered to make this a comfortable home for your holiday. It is an ideal base for singles or couples to explore the New Forest, Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. There is a very comfortable bed and a convenient kitchenette with a combi microwave/oven and induction hob. The sturdy fold up table and chairs saves space while you are not dining, and there is a seating area with a Smart TV and Bluetooth speakers. Outside is a beautiful enclosed courtyard ideal for dogs and al fresco dining, a variety of plants and a water feature creating a tranquil environment and a peaceful place to enjoy being outside.
The local beach and village are an easy stroll away with a variety of cafes, pubs and fine dining, independent shops and small branch supermarkets. Accessible from the beach or by road is Highcliffe Castle, formerly the summer home of Mr. Selfridge, with its beautiful gardens and sea views. A drive in the opposite direction leads to Milford on Sea, Keyhaven and Lymington from where the car ferry takes you to the Isle of Wight.
In the New Forest National Park are free-roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle owned by local farmers, as well as elusive deer. It is a beautiful area providing fantastic walks and cycle routes and it is a short walk to a council run bike hire site. There are numerous forest towns and villages to explore, each with independent shops to browse and a selection of places to dine. The owners are happy to share their extensive local knowledge.
