Located at the end of a quiet lane in the small village of Baldwins Gate and enjoying unspoilt countryside views, Chorlton Moss Cottage is a place to relax and unwind in. A pretty brook side walk leads to a shop, pub and restaurant, whilst a wider range of amenities can be found in Newcastle-under-Lyme, which is approximately 6 miles away from the cottage, with Keele University just 3 miles. It is also ideally located for visiting Chester, Alton Towers, Trentham Gardens, historic 5 potteries towns and the Peak District National Park, making this an ideal base for families. Other places to visit within the immediate area include various farmers markets, Whitmore Hall, pretty villages such as Maer which has links to Charles Darwin, Churnet Valley Steam Railway and Ironbridge Gorge. Further afield, there is a train station within 20 minutes, with good rail connections into Birmingham and Manchester, within an hour, and even London, 1½ hours. Horse riding, tennis courts and golf can be found within 15 minutes of the cottage. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
