Very deceiving as did not know there was an upstairs as I have trouble with stairs, its a dog friendly place but dogs were not allowed upstairs to lounge and bed room, so the only place they could stay was in the kitchen ( very unhygienic) we had to de cobweb the bedroom as the webs went from lights to picture frame to the bed ,also the velux fire escape was not easy to access if there was a fire no ladder. Property to close to the main road.

Used Barnex several times and will again. Had an issue with a broken shower hose that the owners rectified immediately. The property has recently had a fenced off area added to the front that is a great addition. The dogs loved to get out instead of being indoors. Would highly recommend.

Nice cottage, easy to get to but the B road nearby is very busy and noisy and we missed this fact on booking. Cottage was nice and clean well laid out with comfortable sofa and bed. Excellent kitchen facilities. The yard let’s it down it’s too small for us and a dog. The separate garden area though large, is not secure from the busy road so not safe for a dog. And the yard is very unkempt with weeds and brambles and a brick structure that is falling apart. So overall the actual cottage is good and v clean but the outside area does let it down and needs some attention.

When we pulled up we looked at each other and said hope inside better than outside. Inside is adequate bu5 outside gardens are a mess, full of weeds and overgrown. Side house looked like rubbish dump

Brilliant place to stay, nice and quite, welcoming, safe for kids as there is a door at top and bottom of the stairs, and good for the dog aswell, as there is a fenced off area for him and a big garden. Little bit hard to find at first.

A lovely clean cottage, ideally located for all coastal town..great garden for our dogs to play in..would highly recommend as it's a very good price

Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Clean throughout.

    out of 10

A lovely little cottage with a large grassed garden for my old dog to potter around in (although the gravel drive wasn’t really dog paw friendly). The property was warm and cosy, clean and well equipped, but would benefit from a torch (or brighter outside lighting because it’s pitch black at night) and an umbrella for the winter months. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent cottage, welcome pack even one for the dogs was great. Will be going again.

    out of 10

Warm and cosy and in a good location for getting out and about. Sadly lacking in home comforts. Outdoor space was an issue as it is advertised as dog friendly, but the property is on a main road and there is no gate between the front door and the road.
