We were very pleased with the week's holiday; the cottage/bungalow was beautifully sited and well named as "Church View". A slight drawback was the absence of shops at walking distance, although some would no doubt regard this as an advantage.

A good base to explore Kent from, perfect for the dog with decent secure garden with brilliant views.

Enjoyed a wonderful few days at Church View. Garden is completely enclosed which made our stay stress free as we took our three dogs. Cottage is fully equipped and although we took supplies with us the welcome pack provided by Jane and Ed was gratefully received. It was a pleasant home from home with lovely walks and beautiful sunsets! Can’t wait to re book for another visit.

Simply perfect......... perfect location, perfect hosts, perfect cottage, perfect welcome package, perfect views, perfect comfort and above all perfect walks for our little dog. Would love to go back and thoroughly recommend to anyone that has a dog and enjoys peace, quiet and beautiful countryside walks. If there was a negative it would be a drive to any shops.

we were told we would recieve a days refund because we were without electricity for a day while the contractors worked on the system. apart from that we were very satisfied.

Lovely cottage nice location. New sofa is lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and so did our 2 dogs Ben and Daisy plenty of walks.

When I arrived, the cottage was cosily warm. There was a lovely Christmas tree. Milk, butter, and bread - and even a little gift for me! I loved the open space in the cottage and the fenced in garden - my dogs were very happy! Close by a nice Pub with decent food and walks along the Canal or up to Lympe Castle walking also through the zoo. St Mary's Bay beach just a few miles away. Wonderful people all over the area. My hosts were simply superb. Highly recommended!

We were warm and cosy here, in fact a bit too warm at times but better that than cold. The cottage had everything we could want, including dog towels and poo bags! Our two Old English Sheepdogs loved the enclosed garden so we were all happy. The only real downside was the sofa; not very comfy for sitting the whole evening especially if two of us wanted to sit side by side. So my partner took the big wooden armchair and I shuffled about all evening on the sofa. It wouldn't be so important in the summer but the dark November evenings forced us indoors earlier. This is why the cottage lost a point. There weren't any local amenities but it is a very small village so we really didn't expect anything. On arrival we were given milk, bread and butter so what more could you want? We took most of our food anyway and used the Sainsbury's in Dymchurch for topping up. Not a problem. The area was really fascinating with all its anti-invasion artefacts and we loved walking along the Royal Military Canal, only about 5 minutes walk from the cottage. Would we go back? Yes, without a doubt - the only problem is that we have the M25 and M20 between us and the latter is currently undergoing major works which is a nightmare at night when chunks of it are closed and some pretty horrendous diversions are in place. But this has nothing to do with the cottage which was one of the best we've stayed in.

A great place to stay. Lovely garden for our dogs to roam in. The sofa could have been a bit more comfortable.

Very nice cottage . Well equipped but needs a better sofa and bigger beds !

Great location, perfect for dog walking, lovely scenery. Welcome pack on arrival was great. Great stay for the disabled as well. I just didn’t like the single beds. Reason I wouldn’t return is because I have never stayed at the same place more than once. If I did this is an ideal place.

Excellent but was unable to use sofa as too low. Ed and Jane were very welcoming and the welcome very handy. Lovely setting, enjoyed having sheep for neighbours during our stay. Stunning sunsets.
