This is the third time we've stayed at Chyrose Farm Cottage so that tells you how good it is. This is a quaint, granite-built cottage set on a working farm so expect to see pretty, nosy Jersey cows on your morning walk. This is the place for uninterupted sunset views without leaving the garden as it faces out to sea. This is a great place to stay if you have a dog as the utility room is the ideal drying-off and sleeping quarters for your pooch. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room is cosy, with two pine-furnished bedrooms which are comforable and quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. Pendeen has a convenience store with friendly staff, there's a great coffee shop and two pubs both of which do food but the North Inn is the place to go if you like a good curry. Nearby St. Just and Penzance offer a much wider range of shops and attractions with a number of National Trust gardens close to hand as well as Tremenheere Sculpture Garden. Our favourite place however is Trebah Gardens near Mawnan Smith which is just spectacular with it's walks through the garden down to the Fal River, really magical. We also make sure to visit Pendeen Watch a working lighthouse just a short walk from the cottage which offers stunning views out to sea. There's little doubt that we'll be back here again.

Lovely cottage as we have stayed there 9 times now however we felt the cottage had been neglected this year. We had issues with equipment. We had to ring the caretaker as the oven wasn’t working when we arrived. She got a new one installed the following day but during the week, we had problems with signal with the TV so we feel it needs a new Ariel and also issues with the shower leaking and water temp issues. Such a shame, however the cottage is having a revamp next year we believe but the cottage and equipment should still be in good working order for paying guests.

We have visited Chyrose for 14 years, so it must suit our needs. We love it and always look forward to visiting again.

We really enjoyed our holiday the cottage is in a lovely position, peace and quiet and cosy at the beginning when the weather was wild! By the end of the week we enjoyed the garden in the sunshine, a short walk along the coast path to the most beautiful beach - what more could you want?

Adequate cottage in lovely location. Unfortunately the central heating was not working properly. Caretaker kindly bought two portable heaters which helped.

Excellent holiday location and very cosy - enjoyed our stay and was going to book for next year but sadly the prices have risen too high compared to our recent stay.
