Cledan is a wonderful, mid-terrace, three-bedroomed property that has been tastefully decorated to combine the traditional with the modern. This quirky property is the ideal place to relax with family or friends. Whether you’re looking for adrenaline and adventure or a quiet break, Cledan is the perfect base from which to explore the picturesque island of Anglesey.
Situated a stone’s throw away from the property is the beautiful east coast of Anglesey, which showcases the remote and peaceful Penmon Point beach, boasting views over to Snowdonia and the Menai Straits. After a day of exploring, there is nothing better than a hearty meal at one of the local pubs or alternatively cooking yourself a meal in the well-equipped cottage kitchen. Afterwards, enjoy a cosy night in at Cledan in front of the fire or on a warm summers evening sit out in the garden and watch the sunset.
The ancient, historical landmark of Trwyn Du lighthouse can also be found at the eastern point of the pebbled beach. Beyond the lighthouse is Puffin Island where a mixture of sea birds, seals and other species can be found. It is the ideal spot for birdwatching. Alternatively, if you’re chasing some excitement, only a short drive away is Menai Bridge which offers a thrill seeking RibRide experience. For those with a keen interest in history, a visit to the 13th-century castle in the nearby town of Beaumaris is a must. Furthermore, there are a number of National Trust attractions a little further afield, the 19th-century Penrhyn Castle and Gardens in Bangor and the 18th-century Plas Newydd House and Gardens in the small village of Llanfair PG, (Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch) which are both well worth a visit. Beach ¾ mile. Shop 1¼ miles, pub and restaurant 3¼ mile.
