It is situated on a working farm but has its own separate driveway and entrance. It has been finished off to a good standard with tasteful decor and furnishings throughout and the open plan living area gives the property a spacious welcoming feel. Original beams add to its character and charm and the wood burner is perfect for relaxing in front of on a chilly evening. The underfloor heating system always ensures a cosy warm welcome to all guests as does the welcome pack which includes tea coffee milk hot chocolate bread and some scrumptious cookies or cakes. The cottage provides an excellent base for exploring the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Coast.\nThe area is surrounded in stunning scenery and is ideal for keen ramblers and cyclists as it overlooks Cringle Moor and the famous Wainstones on the Cleveland Way. Other spectacular walks can be found close by at Roseberry Topping Kildale Captain Cook’s Monument and Carlton Bank. The beautiful picturesque village of Great Ayton is only a couple of miles away and is steeped in history especially with its connections with Captain Cook. There is a museum in the town that used to be Captain Cook’s schoolroom. Tuck into a refreshing Suggitts ice cream on the river bank of the River Leven. It is an ideal location for a relaxing picnic. The historic market town of Stokesley is only a couple of miles away with its distinguished wide cobbled streets lined with many shops pubs and restaurants and lots of interesting Georgian and Victorian buildings. 9 hole golf course driving range leisure centre and swimming baths nearby. Travelling slightly further afield you can appreciate other beautiful areas within the National Park. The Esk Valley Railway allows you to get on board a steam train. Visit Grosmont Goathland Heartbeat country or explore the market town of Helmsley and the pretty coastal resorts of Robinhoods Bay Saltburn Staithes and Whitby for a trip to the seaside. Shop 2½ miles pub and restaurant 2 miles.\nRupert’s Stable can be booked together with Betty’s Byre CC233103 to accommodate up to 10 guests. We were greeted by the owner ,shown everything we might want to know or need , given bread ,milk, wine and an amazing lemon drizzle cake , that was the cause of a slight friendly disagreement between my husband and son to whom would get the last piece. This is a working farm ,and Rupert's stable is in the middle ,so if your not an early riser this is not the place for you . We found the cottage clean , comfortable, spacious, cozy, excellent for our dogs and family.cant wait Togo again .

Has to be the best place we have ever stayed.. Everything is included in the cost.. Such wonderful people who are a pleasure to meet.. We recommend highly!! Thanks from us both..

The cottage was lovely but the courtyard out front could do with being tidied up. There is a nice grass area immediately outside the cottage and a good parking area but next to the parking area was overgrown and quite a bit of rubbish. This didn't make for much of a view.

Brilliant location for our two wives on their coast to coast walk. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Great Ayton and Stokesley catered for all our needs (simple as they were). Well appointed accommodation with more than adequate equipment. Would recommend this property and owners without reservation.

We had another comfortable week (our second stay) at Rupert’s stable, beautifully converted as a comfortable holiday base for exploring the North Yorkshire villages, seaside and moors. The garden was completely safe and secure for our two dogs. The welcome pack of wine, tray bakes and flowers was much appreciated after our long journey there. We would like to be back for a third visit and can highly recommend the property.

Lovely cottage with a homely feel. Good base for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors including Captain Cooks Monument and Roseberry Topping. A lovely touch by owner to leave us a little welcome pack.

Had a great week in Ruperts Stable, lovely cottage on a working dairy farm. Andrea was so friendly and helpful, great welcome pack. We loved the area and will definitely return.
