This beautifully decorated cottage is set over three floors boasting two living rooms and a lovely sun room overlooking the enclosed garden. It is ideally located for guests who wish to explore the local area and is the perfect place for couples looking for a relaxing break any time of the year. The picturesque village of Clifford Chambers is a tranquil haven with the River Avon flowing through. Set on the edge of the Cotswolds just 2 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon this is the starting point for many beautiful scenic walks. The historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon with its striking Tudor buildings offers guests the chance to visit many of the local attractions including Shakespeare’s birthplace Ann Hathaway’s cottage Mary Arden’s farm and also the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Theatre which sits right on the banks of the picturesque River Avon. This is also great for a shopping trip with plenty of top quality boutiques shops tea shops restaurants bistros and pubs to explore and enjoy. Chipping Campden and Warwick Castle are all within easy reach.     This was a very well-equipped cottage, very nicely furnished and in a lovely situation in this charming village of Clifford Chambers. We thoroughly recommend both the location (close to Stratford-upon-Avon) and the cottage, even though the weather could have been kinder to us!

    This is the most charming cottage. Although quite small it is beautifully decorated in a traditional “chintzy” manner and is very homely. It is very well equipped and has a lovely small enclosed garden. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
