As well as the delightful nearby village of Crantock with its magnificent sandy beach and dunes ancient church thatched cottages art gallery and country pubs guests can also enjoy Cubert Common National Trust West Pentire headland and the mile-long River Gannel estuary all perfect for bird watching and walking. From this central location the scenic coves of Polly Joke and Holywell Bay the Lost Gardens of Heligan the Eden Project Lanhydrock and many National Trust properties and gardens are easily accessible. The area also offers a choice of good restaurants country pubs and celebrity chef establishments along with the stunning coastline and popular beaches surrounding the bustling town of Newquay.     Had a fantastic holiday, cottage had everything we could possibly need. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owners on arrival. There was a bottle of wine, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge which was a great surprise after a long drive. Attention to detail was amazing, lots of thought had been put into the house from games in the cupboard to all the little extras you normally have to bring from home. Location of cottage was amazing, Crantock beach close by was lovely and there are plenty of pubs for food and a village shop all within a short drive. Crantock was ideally located for excursions further afield too with lots of must see places. We had an excellent time and would definitely come back next time we are in Cornwall.

    excellent hosts and made to feel so welcome. we had an excellent time super clean and would definitely book again especially to use open fire. facilities in cottage excellent . we were very surprised by all the extras milk posh biscuits tea coffee and all the extras i took. ie washing up liquid hand soap all provided disposable bbq's . truly lovely place. thank you Denise Bill Jane and John 6/07/19 to 13/07/19 plus we had excellent weather.

    Lovely cottage in a quiet location surrounded by gardens full of bird life. Extremely well equipped. Friendly owners live nearby and on hand if needed. We would definitely stay again.
