I stayed here from Monday, 9th March - 13th March. The drive up to the house is very steep. Anyone with breathing issues would need to take their car everytime they went out. This is obviously an older house and doesn't look the same as the photo online. The photo looks like it is a newer house. There is a house is next door to a house I thought was derelict but on my last night there was a light on. Not a nice outlook. On arrival I had to walk through mud in the drive to get to the house. The overall cleanliness in the living room, bathroom and bedrooms was ok. There is 2 sofas in the living room which are so uncomfortable. My back ached. I went along to the Cuillin Hills Hotel on my last night to get a cumfy seat. The bedding is clean and the bed comfortable. Kitchen needs updating as there is not a lot of space to prepare meals. The cooker was dirty at the sides obviously not cleaned in a long time. Wouldn't return.

Cottage was not clean. Blood stains on bedding. Floors and bathroom dirty. Uncomfortable sofa and beds. The shower was the worst shower we’ve ever had. Fridge smelt awful and was dirty. Would not recommend staying in this property. Only good thing is the location

Visited the cottage for a 6 night stay with my children. There was a lovely welcome basket on arrival but the cottage wasn’t very clean. Seating in living room very uncomfortable. Main bedrooms bed was very squeaky. Second bedroom was dirty. Dog hair in most places. Shower very poor. Fire extinguishers in kitchen had not been serviced in a few years. Cooker in kitchen was very unstable and toppled on top of my 2 year old son which resulted in emergency services and a hospital visit. A leg injury which resulted in us leaving early. The owner “fixed” the cooker by adding planks of wood underneath it to balance it. Lovely holiday to the isle but shocking accommodation.

The cottage is in an excellent location for touring the Isle of Skye. Very close to local amenities with an abundance of places to eat and drink. The majority of which are dog friendly. The cottage itself is probably in need of a little updating, but was warm and the equipment was adequate for our needs. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dogs. Unfortunately, the weather was not kind to us, so we didn't get to see all that we had hoped to see.
