No smoking.\n This cute terraced cottage on the main street in St Bees gives you the perfect location close to the railway station a selection of pubs a shop across the road and walking distance to the best sandy beach in Cumbria. St Bees also gives you good access to the Lake District National Park with an abundance of fells and lakes within a short drive.\nCoastal Cottage lies just under a mile from the beautiful sandy beach which is perfect for a breath of fresh air and also good for exercising your four-legged friends. Dogs are welcome to come and stay and there is plenty of good walks locally. The centre of St Bees has an excellent selection of local pubs and restaurants and if you want to leave the car behind you can take the train to many local towns. The famous St Bees priory dating back to the 11th century is well worth a visit and can be accessed on foot in 5 minutes’.\n\nEnnerdale Lake regarded as one of the most unspoilt and natural parts of the Lake District is teaming with wildlife including buzzards red squirrels and osprey to name but a few. If you want to climb the highest mountain in England you can reach Wasdale Head in just 18 miles which gives you the shortest route to the summit of Scafell Pike or why not take a trip on the La’al Ratty which is a miniature steam railway along the coast. For golfers St Bees offers an excellent 9 hole links course. Whether you like the mountains coast beaches or lakes Coastal Cottage really does provide the perfect base.     Lovely little cottage but in a busy street opposite a shop which rolls open its shutters at 5.30 am every morning. If you want to watch TV the noise outside prevents this. No real parking and a walk to railway station each time you go out to park the car. Beach a bit further than you think and have to pay to park there. More linen & towels needs to be provided. Bathroom needs updating. Nice pub a few doors away, great food. Lovely grocery pack & fresh flowers & lots of really helpful leaflets.
