Discover many walks from the doorstep across a tidal causeway to Cramond Island along the river past tumbling falls or along the long sandy beach this is the ideal spot for a relaxing break. The neighbouring gallery and bistro offers special breakfast rates and there are many good pubs and restaurants nearby.     The apartment is really comfortable, good walking and sea air and views straight out of the front door. Close enough to Edinburgh. Welcome pack greatly appreciated Local amenities are low as the Bistro Cafe and the Cramond Arms (pub) don't accept dogs, so of no use.

    Well equipped cottage. Lovely and quiet with wonderful view of river and Cramond island. Cottage clean and warm Easy access to Edinburgh and to the amazing attractions of pent lands, Roslyn, Would recommend this cottage

    Fantastic cottage, it had almost everything we needed and is right next to the beach. The only downside is no enclosed yard or garden where the dogs could pee...so we had to take them out on the lead just before bed and first thing in the morning. But nowhere’s perfect, and this certainly wouldn’t deter us from coming back. Hoping to return in the autumn!

    Gorgeous cosy cottage overlooking the river Almond with free parking directly outside the property. It is only a stone’s throw away from the promenade that runs all the way to Leith with stunning views of the Firth of the Forth and was great for walking our dog. It was lovely to return to the property after being in Edinburgh which is only a 15 min drive, however it’s easy to catch a bus and save the high parking charges. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

    The location of the cottage was perfect for us. Had a quirky layout. The cottage was nicely decorated and spotless. A bit disappointed that the bistro and the pub were both closed. Great days out, loved the area and would definitely love to go back.

    Lovely cottage but concerns about second single bedroom with no window and no door. If a child or elderly relation was sleeping in it everyone would wake them up going to the toilet and also a concern about fire, how they would get out. The rest of the visit and everything else was great.

    Fantastic little cottage very comfortable. Just two niggles, the single bedroom, we were very worried re health and safety as no way of escape from that room at all should a fire occur in the bathroom or kitchen area! Only one smoke alarm , and only one extinguisher in the kitchen area. On our last evening our view was interrupted by a car parked under our window in front of the holiday cottage which we were led to believe was our sole parking. Very comfortable stay and superb location

    The cottage was very nice but the local area is sadly lacking amenities. no local shop and you have to drive even for a pint of milk. The only pub is never open

    Our visit in August was our 3rd stay at Cobble Cottage. We love staying there so much we have booked our 4th stay for New Year 2020.

    We had a lovely time, the cottage & area was lovely. The only thing that was upsetting was the banging From one of the cottages next to us all day long till late.

    Beautifully presented Cottage and nice touches with welcome pack and background lighting left on . All very welcoming . Great location for walking and close to bus stop for getting into Edinburgh . Weather was fab so no complaints at all. A great place to stay . Very comfortable indeed . Thank you ??

    Great location, so near to Leith and Edinburgh. Great for the dogs having the beach so close. Easy to cycle or bus to Edinburgh. We used the cycle paths to walk in. Local pub not with the bother really which is a shame . Could be great .
