Kendal has an abundance of well-known high street brands mixed with several independent retailers, coffee shops, cafés, deli’s, bars and restaurants. With a weekly outdoor market selling anything from local crafts to clothing, as well as a permanent indoor market open daily, you’ll find plenty on your doorstep to fill your days. Kendal Museum, dating back to 1796, is only a 10-minute walk, and Abbott Hall is ideal for art lovers, just 15 minutes away on foot.
