Unfortunately the lodge was not very clean on our arrival. There were a lot of black dog hairs over the floor and the cushions for the outside furniture were also covered in dog hair. The location was perfect and the enclosed garden and decking area were great for our westies. Plenty of good food places and all within walking distance. The beach is lovely and only across the road. We would definitely return and hope it will have been cleaned thoroughly.

Great location and pet friendly. Owner friendly and on site if needed. Main bedroom was nice and the bed was very comfy and the bed linen was clean and fresh. bath wasn't clean and there was no cleaning products for us to use when we arrived or when we where leaving. However, we loved the area and location.

The Lodge was set in a beautiful place and the dog loved the beach and lots of other beaches in Anglesey. We thought the lodge bedrooms were rather small as were the bathrooms. It also was a bit short of some things. For instance there were only two large plates, one wine glass. As it had four beds there weren’t four of everything. It didn’t affect us much as my daughter and husband ate out most nights, it is just for future families coming to stay. Thank you for a nice week.

Lovely bungalow in an almost fully enclosed garden right next to Spar Shop and across beach. When we arrived we liked the surroundings and the appearance of the cottage. Unfortunately, I noticed mould in the bedroom below the window. The owner came promptly. He cleaned it with hot water and although he thought it‘s not mould he used Anti-Mould Spray on it the next day. I‘m allergic to mould and I already showed symptoms after only one night of sleeping in that bedroom. We found some dog hair which we don‘t mind since we have dogs as well. The cottage just wasn’t maintained well. The window frames needed cleaning. The vacuum cleaner hadn’t been emptied and was full of dirt and dog hair. The ventilation filters were filthy. There was no coat rack. Some of the door frames seemed to have water damages and looked gross. In the bathtub the rubber of the shower partition was stained and old. The bottom of the shower partition in the other bathroom was stained as well. There was a block of ice at the back of the fridge and the door did not close properly on occasion. The kitchen cabinets were sticky to the touch. The owner was very nice, even when our dog killed one of his chicken when our leash broke. We‘re really sorry about that and the owner couldn‘t have been nicer about it. However, we didn‘t fully enjoy our stay due to the unclean condition of the bungalow. The owner apologized and said that‘s all the cleaning they have been able to do in four hours before our arrival since the previous guests left late. However, these things are not the result of one botched cleanings but rather a lack of good maintenance cleaning.

1 min walk to sea front, Sea Shanty restaurant opposite the lodge allows dogs and serves excellent food. Owners of lodge live next door - run the Spar shop - friendly and helpful. Welcome pack for humans and dogs. Small enclosed garden as well as large decked area.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of the bay. Three Pubs/Restaurants with a five minute walk, plus a ‘Chippy’. Extremely comfortable beds & armchairs. We had a very wet few days but still lots to do on the Island. En-Suite facilities are very small indeed, a bit of a struggle for someone over 6feet and 14stone. A very enjoyable holiday. Our host was excellent.

Great location opposite the sea shanty cafe which is on the beach. Good garden and patio. You wouldn't know you were in a static caravan bedroom spacious and nice bathrooms with proper shower. Could do with a few more cups and a bigger couch but would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone.

We had a brilliant stay in the lodge over Christmas. Every thing was perfect from the lodge it self to it’s location to the beach and for all amenities. Inclosed garden was perfect for our 2 dogs, the owners could not have been more helpful. Looking forward to staying there again in the near future.
