Nestled around a cobbled yard and a pond, Collacott Farm has been a holiday complex for 30 years. It lies within easy reach of Exmoor with its wild ponies, deer and sheep, the rugged north coastline with its dramatic cliffs and the long sandy beaches of the west coast. Whilst retaining original features such as wooden beams and fireplaces, the holiday cottages are furnished to a very good standard creating a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. They are set back from a quiet country lane, and are approached by a long drive. Each cottage has its own private fenced and landscaped garden with a patio, lawned area, barbecue and garden furniture. Collacott Farm Cottages are delightful and many guests return annually. The BHS Approved Riding School can cater for all ages and abilities on a range of well-schooled quality horses and ponies. The cottages have become a favourite destination for many looking for horse riding holidays in the UK. For those who wish to bring their own horse or pony, stabling is available by arrangement. The resident instructor is available for group or private lessons so you can learn to ride, or improve your riding skills in the safety of our all weather arena, or hack out through the pretty Devon lanes. Each property also has shared use of the outdoor heated swimming pool, tennis court, games room, trampoline room and there is also a large indoor party venue which can accommodate upto 60 people. Enjoy woodland walks and many other attractions that are available in the area. Shop 4 miles, pub 1½ mile.NB: Granary Cottage (31057) and Dovecote Cottage (31060) have a soundproof inter-connecting door, they can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests.
