Enjoy a good night’s sleep in the double bedroom and take advantage of the en-suite shower facilities. The fully enclosed gravelled garden, with raised decking area and garden furniture, is bordered by the historic mill wall and trees so you can expect privacy.
The charming and traditional conservation village of Bonsall is situated in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, where you can enjoy unspoilt landscapes and off-beaten track walks leading to places where you can observe the enchanting landmarks, such as Hermits cave and the nine stones close stone circle, making this a walker’s delight from your very doorstep. Named in the Domesday Book, with a history dating back to Roman times, this former lead mining and textile producing village is renowned for the World Hen Racing Championships that are held on the 1st Saturday in August at the Barley Mow pub. This part of Derbyshire has a rich heritage, with nearby Cromford being home to the Arkwright Mills and Crich, playing host to a Tramway Village. Matlock Bath is just a short drive away and is the base for the cable car leading to the Heights of Abraham - a sixty-acre hilltop country park. Walkers and mountain bikers will delight in the magnificent trails that abound in this part of the Peaks, whilst watersports enthusiasts are well-served by Carsington Water.
