NB These properties have a security deposit of £50. Common Farm Lodge is a self-contained detached apartment which is situated in the grounds of an 18th-century farmhouse. Nestled within 18 acres of Cheshire countryside Common Farm Cottages have their own equestrian facilities with an olympic-sized dressage arena and horse riding lessons can be booked directly with the owner at cost dependant on availability. It benefits from off road parking and when booked with the farmhouse ref W44149 has use of the enclosed garden and fantastic games room which has HD cinema seats 2 and a small pool table. The studio-style apartment is small but perfectly formed. It has a well appointed bathroom with Travertine marble which gives the property a boutique feel whilst the kitchen is equipped with a fridgefreezer microwave oven and grill and a washerdryer. There is also wi-fi and Satellite TV which includes a sport and movie package. The living room which doubles up as a the bedroom is furnished with a double divan bed as well as a double sofa bed to accommodate two children. To ensure that comfort is not compromised the capacity is limited to a maximum of two adults and two children. Larger parties may choose to book the lodge in conjunction with the main farmhouse ref W44149 which will accommodate a further 9 people. An excellent 4 night reunion, 7 retired professionals enjoying the home comforts of Common Farm and the Lodge. Kitchen and cooking facilities were excellent and well used, bedding was comfortable, lounge and dining facilities equally excellent. Water pressure was erratic, indeed in the lodge there was no hot water at the wash basin in the bathroom. Wi fi was equally erratic. Neither spoilt our overall enjoyment. The access road needs improvement, during our stay the many potholes were full of rainwater. Of course we couldn’t book the weather.
