Really well equipped, lovely rooms all with modern facilities but kept in character to the cottage. Two kitchen we used the Aga which was well worth it (we cooked a full Christmas dinner) Library was cosy with great access to hot tub, I have nothing negative to say and would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you to Fiona the owner who even put up Christmas decorations for us which added to the cosy feel

Three generations of the same family stayed here in the October half term. This is a really nice place to relax and unwind. This cottage has everything you need to have a lovely holiday. The hot tub is relaxing and the log fire is nice on the cold mornings and evenings. The local town has a number of nice pubs, a great chip shop (be warned one large bag feeds 4 people) and the convenience stores are well stocked. The cottage gives easy access to Portsmouth, The south downs and the new forest. All in all this is a lovely area and the cottage was great.

Lovely old house with plenty of history . All beds very comfortable .Prompt responses from the owner and detailed instructions for everything . We really enjoyed the hot tub as we were very lucky with the weather for September . Very conveniently located .Only a few minutes walk from excellent pubs if you want to eat out . We were a group consisting of 3 generations and it suited us all but there are quite a few steps , so perhaps not a property for the infirm . We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return

We loved the house so much and the history. Fiona and Dave were very quick at sorting out a couple of minor problems we had and supplied a lovely welcome pack. However there were a few things that let the house down: a wheelbarrow full of stagnant water in the front seating area that clearly had been there a while, the back garden was messy and really let it down-it wouldn’t take much for a quick tidy up and the overall cleanliness of the house could of been better.

We had a wonderful stay at Coppice Hill House. Comfortable rooms, lots of space and easy walk into the lovely local town, complete with the ruined abbey. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with all the utensils you could possibly need. We would definitely come back.

Just home from a lovely stay at Coppice Hill House. A great welcome pack was waiting for us which is a lovey touch. This is a lovely quirky cottage with large comfortable rooms . It is very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean. The garden is perfect for dogs, it’s completely enclosed and big enough for them to run around, and there are plenty of good dog walks locally. The children ( all on their 20s!) loved the hot tub. I only marked it down as it is close to a busy road and there is road noise, but we soon got used to that
