It lies on the edge of the South Downs National Park making this ideal for keen walkers and cyclists. Southampton and the historic cathedral city of Winchester can be reached within 10 miles.\nParts of this characterful Grade II listed property dates back to the 15th century with some later additions mainly in the 17th and 18th centuries. It is steeped in history and was formerly a pub a school a place for the manufacture of bespoke bricks and tiles and also a doctors surgery. This traditional detached family home enjoys some charming features such as beams tiled floors inglenook fireplaces original oak floors wood panelling in the dining room a Rayburn walled garden and a wood burner. The house is set just back from the main road which leads to the town there may be some road noise although the property is secondary glazed and is conveniently located for local pubs and restaurants - the nearest only two minutes walk away and a comprehensive range of independent shops such as a butchers bakery greengrocers and more.     We had a an amazing stay at Coppice Hill house, 3 generations staying together. The cottage is faultless, all the amenities you could possible need. Excellent communication with the owner. We can’t wait to go back.

    Clean comfy full of charm and character lovely big rooms . fully enclosed safe garden with hot tub and furniture. Everything we neede nice location easy walking distance to shops, nice inns with good food and staff. Fiona and Dave where so helpful. Would defienately recommend.

    Lovely old house with plenty of history . All beds very comfortable .Prompt responses from the owner and detailed instructions for everything . We really enjoyed the hot tub as we were very lucky with the weather for September . Very conveniently located .Only a few minutes walk from excellent pubs if you want to eat out . We were a group consisting of 3 generations and it suited us all but there are quite a few steps , so perhaps not a property for the infirm . We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return

    We really enjoyed our stay in coppice hill. Facilities in the house were very good. Beds comfortable, kitchen equipment very good, Entertainment equipment very good t.v CD player etc.

    We had a wonderful stay at Coppice Hill House. Comfortable rooms, lots of space and easy walk into the lovely local town, complete with the ruined abbey. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with all the utensils you could possibly need. We would definitely come back.

    Just home from a lovely stay at Coppice Hill House. A great welcome pack was waiting for us which is a lovey touch. This is a lovely quirky cottage with large comfortable rooms . It is very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean. The garden is perfect for dogs, it’s completely enclosed and big enough for them to run around, and there are plenty of good dog walks locally. The children ( all on their 20s!) loved the hot tub. I only marked it down as it is close to a busy road and there is road noise, but we soon got used to that

    We had a wonderful time. Our party consisted of three grown up generations and the property suited us well. Everything we could have wanted was to hand. The kitchen was well stocked with basics and every appliance required from microwave to coffee machine. We also arrived to a generous welcome package. The rooms were lovely; the bed sheets & bedding was top quality leading to a great nights sleep. There was an BT issue with the Wi-fi for a day but Fiona, the owner, went above and beyond to not only fix it but make sure we were communicated with & looked after. I was really impressed. I would highly recommend this property!

    This cottage is really lovely and well suited to two families or extended family. The house is quirky and old and very well appointed. The hot tub is lovely and the location is perfect for loads of things to do. We will be back!
