We had a fabulous holiday based In Mousehole- a beautiful fishing village steeped in history and legend. It was perfect, quiet, relaxing and a great base to explore south west Cornwall. Would go back in a flash.

We had a lovely week at this cottage it was a very small cottage and my husband did bang his head a few times on the ceiling but these thing happened in a small cottage. Beds nice and comfy cottage could do with a update. It was a good base for the harbour village and the village is amazing and relaxing ?

Great cottage right in the middle of Mousehole. Lots of old charm yet everything you need such as a microwave, good oven and tumble dryer. Would be good to have an outdoor space though it is clear from the website that there isn't one. It would be useful to make it very clear that both bedrooms have double beds.

Great location, less than 1 minute walk to the beach. Mousehole is a lovely fishing village and great for visiting local attractions. Dog not allowed on the local beach. Have to pay £3 per day parking charge. No Wi-Fi.

Property could do with freshening up inside. Bathroom especially. Mattress in front bedroom requires renewing as very thin. Dated and uncomfortable settee and chair in living room. Kitchen well equipped and clean. Be aware that there is only one pub and corner shop in village and you would have to travel for meals out as pub gets extremely busy. Ideal location to visit other attractions and picturesque harbour village with limited parking. I do not believe cottage is worth price asked as we have recently stayed in self catering accommodation for less price and a much higher standard of furniture and decoration.

Initially we thought we'd made a huge mistake with the location because there was just nowhere to park and nowhere available to eat on the evening we arrived. However, we decided to park on the road leading into Mousehole which meant a 15ish minute walk. But that turned out fine. The parking was free and the view made the walk really enjoyable. We went into Penzance to eat, plenty of choice. We visited Lands End and enjoyed the beach and walks around Mousehole. The beach at nearby Porthcurno is beautiful. The cottage is dated but that didn't bother us, in fact we loved it. All we would change is the beds. 2 singles in one of the rooms would be great as we have teenagers, a girl and a boy and they can't share. My daughter ended up with the short straw and inflatable bed. Non of this ruined our holiday, we had a lovely time. Highly recommended, we would love to go back.

We love corner cottage. It could do with a few extra kitchen equipments, pizza wheel, grater, glasses, forks. We love its charm but prefer two single beds in the second room for children. It was twins now double.

The cottage is very aged, main door in was rotting so screws came out of the lock and handle, I tried ringing the caretaker but had no answer, it should be made very clear that this is totally not suitable for elderly/disabled. There was just one tea towel, no can opener, just very dated.

not a bad little cottage but could do with a overhaul, cars & vans parking right outside front window and having to pay for car parking

Our favourite cottage. Ideally placed, lovely view from the front bedroom and just what you need as a good solid base. There has been some upkeep improvements and it is always so clean when you arrive. Okay, it may not be plush furnished to some folks standards but for us it is just fine and is comfortable and clean, ideal location and excellent value for money. I hope we as a family have many more happy stays here. I love sitting in the window watching the world roll by or catching that first glimpse of sun on the water from the bedroom. Just a stones throw from the Harbour, the Ship Inn or deli Hole Foods and a short stroll to the Coastguard where you can enjoy a glass of your choice overlooking interrupting views of the Cornish Coast. Thank you.

Corner Cottage was a wonderful place to stay for a week with good but tiered amenities/decor, also no WIFI which is an inconvenience as there is none in the area. However the village of Mousehole it self has been overrun with tourists, meaning: You could not overnight park until 7-8 pm, as spaces became available. Dining without a booking was not possible. The Ship Inn, possibly the worst pub in the St Austell network.
