This lovely property is a modern holiday retreat ideally placed to enjoy the Hampshire coast. With Eastney beach a mere 10-minute stroll and to the west, the beach merges with Southsea Beach.
The property has an open plan living dining space leading through to a pleasant sunroom. Externally, the enclosed garden is a great little sun trap to enjoy. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one single bedroom (with the option of an additional folding bed) and a family bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay. This is an ideal base for couples or friends looking for a getaway on the Hampshire’s south coast. The long and beautiful stretch of shingle is enough to satisfy a sun-filled day or take to the water and try some water sports. The long beach promenade is perfect for walking, cycling or skating with views over to the Isle of Wight.
There is so much to do and see whatever time of the year you visit. The Southsea Bandstand fills music throughout the weekends in the summer, and the Great South Run begins and completes its 10-mile route at the seafront every October. Southsea Common plays host to a whole range of big events throughout the summer including Victorious Festival with headline music performances, the Portsmouth International Kite Festival filling the sky with colourful creations, and the colourful celebration of Portsmouth Pride.
As you would expect there are plenty of places to wine and dine as well as a whole host of local shops all withing walking distance. Albert Road – bustling with quirky and independent traders selling retro clothes and vintage treasures, alongside one-of-a-kind restaurants, hip bars and cafés. Just a 40-minute walk along the seafront to the waterfront experience of Gunwharf Quays with Outlet Designer shopping, waterfront restaurants and bars cinema and bowling alley plus the amazing views from the top of the Spinnaker Tower. Also visit Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home to the HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose.
