Great cottage in good location for Kingham. Very clean. Helpful owners. Good value for money. The situation of the house is slightly out of the main village, but is only a short walk.
Well equipped house with good fixtures and fittings

The toilet in the en-suite didn’t flush . The pool was very dirty we had to clean it .
Some dust or behind the TV.
The cleaners arrived ten minutes before we were leaving .
This is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of the country. The facilities in the property are great and you will never want to take a shower after using the baths this property provides.
We decided to do the recommended route from Kingham to Churchill. We really enjoyed this walk, it was the perfect length and even doable with a sprained ankle. Being city folk, we really enjoyed being able to explore the countryside.
My only one small disappointment (and it was only small) was that the property is based in the newer estate-like part of Kingham and so the garden is a tad overlooked. However, this did not hinder our enjoyment of the property at all.

We felt that the cottage was a little disappointing. The cottage is on the outskirts of Kingham, not in the most attractive part of the village.
On arrival the cleanliness was well below what we would expect and have experienced at other places, this included muddy boot footprints in the only shower cubicle, marks in the bath in the main bedroom and dust on the television stand. It also felt a bit cold.
It felt as though it was ready for updating in a few areas.

This was a lovely comfortable property to stay in with all home comforts and necessary facilities and amenities. What made it more special were the considerate extras - milk in the fridge on arrival and a start hamper. We had a great time. The village is good with its 2 pubs and village shop all within walking distance and it is useful that Kingham has a train station. We so enjoyed the weekend we had in this property.
