Absolutely perfect location for visiting and exploring York. The apartment is quirky and very well equipped. We felt very settled it was like home from home and we will definitely be booking again the next time we're in York.

A beautiful place to stay with plenty of space for a family of four.

We enjoyed a 4 night 1/2 term break with our youngest son in this super property. It is very well situated with everything on your doorstep and parking too, which was a great asset meaning we could happily leave the car in the car park for the duration of our break. The apartment is cosy and homely with ample space for four and a lovely base to return to after a days sightseeing. York itself is lovely, lots to see and lots of lovely places to eat and everything is in walking distance of the property.

We have been coming to York for many years and without doubt this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. The apartment is located in a beautiful historic building (once a hospital) with views of the minster. There is a free designated parking place with secure electric gated access plus Sainsburys directly next door. The apartment is very well equipped and thoughtfully decorated in a lovely cottage style. Open plan kitchen diner with seating and TV plus living room upstairs with access to larger TV and books etc. The apartment has two double bed rooms with all you need, towels, hair dryer plus more. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need for self catering. The big plus is location, you can see the city walls from the front door and with a minutes walk you are stood outside the Minster. A beautiful apartment in a wonderful location, we will be returning.

Booked for 7 days, from 10/7/18, left four days after arriving, spent first hour or so cleaning bathroom and kitchen, bath plug chain busted , hair pins left on floor, generally dirty and stairs that sounded like they were going to collapse.very unhappy. We know york well, have stayed in dean court hotel, blue bicyle, light well, monkbar hotel,so we have a good idea. Had to go and buy towels as they were dirty.
