Along the Skipton to Grassington road this character cottage is well placed for exploring the marvellous countryside of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, by foot and car, or being Tour de France country, by bike as well. Picture postcard Grassington is just a little over 3 miles away and plays host to a selection of events, including the Arts Festival in summer, which boasts famous actors, musicians and TV personalties. In winter it holds the Dickensian Festival to really get you in the Christmas spirit. A Michelin star restaurant can be found 1 mile away in Hetton.
The bustling market town of Skipton is just over 6 miles away and has a wide sweeping cobbled high street together with a Norman castle. Here you will also find an indoor swimming pool, 18-hole golf course, tree top walk, an amazing park and canal trips. For the foodies amongst you there is a variety of excellent restaurants in the area, together with a wealth of pubs serving good pub grub. For the fashion lovers, try Harrogate, where there is both high end and high street shopping, together with the Valley Gardens, Betty’s for afternoon tea and lots of places for a great night out.
