    Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and en-suite with shower over bath, and toilet.
    Bedroom 2: With twin beds and en-suite shower cubicle and toilet.

    Set back from the Skipton to Grassington road this character cottage is well placed for exploring the marvellous countryside of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, by foot and car, or being Tour de France country, by bike as well. Picture postcard Grassington is just a little over 3 miles away and plays host to a selection of events, including the Arts Festival in summer, which boasts famous actors, musicians and TV personalties. In winter it holds the Dickensian Festival to really get you in the Christmas spirit.
    The bustling market town of Skipton is just over 6 miles away and has a wide sweeping cobbled high street together with a Norman castle. Here you will also find an indoor swimming pool, 18-hole golf course, tree top walk, an amazing park and canal trips. For the foodies amongst you there is a variety of excellent restaurants in the area, together with a wealth of pubs serving good pub grub. For the fashion lovers, try Harrogate, where there is both high end and high street shopping, together with the Valley Gardens, Betty’s for afternoon tea and lots of places for a great night out. The National Trust property Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden provides for an alternative day out, as does the historic city of York. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

    What an amazing week! Beautiful surroundings with stunning views whether you are up on the tops or down in the valleys. The house was wonderful - well equipped with everything you could need and with a range of comfortable areas to relax in - although we seemed to keep migrating to the wonderful sunroom or the patio area. Thanks for the wonderful welcome pack - especially the large tub of Yorkshire crisps!! Thank you also for the very quick return of our dog’s harness which you noticed we’d left behind.

    Delightful cottage well equiped, very welcoming and generous owners. Superbly located for exploring Wharfedale. The only probem is cottage is adjacent to the main Skipton/Grasmere Road which is used by HGVs all day and night. Conseqently our sleep was disturbed resulting in us leaving a day early. This was a great pity as otherwise the cottage was perfect.
