We had a wonderful family holiday based at Courtyard Cottage. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable and fitted out with everything you would need. I’m sure we’ll be back in the future.

Overall the cottage was lovely, comfy beds, well equipped, nice and warm. We were really surprised at how close the cottage was to the road. From the information we read and from the pictures we thought it was down a long drive and away from the road. We had to go and buy earplugs as the traffic started really early zinc woke us up even during the night. Shame really as the cottage itself was nice.

Stunning location with a beautiful cottage that was clean, warm and welcoming. While others have mentioned the proximity of the road the cottage is situated along a lovely private drive and the road noise was certainly no issue for us- we would definitely book to stay again.

We enjoyed the cottage and the base it provided but didn't realise how busy the adjoining road was.

As soon as we walked through the door we felt at home and wished we'd booked to stay more than a week! This was perfect for our first holiday with our baby. Worth noting there's a travel cot, high chair and stair gate provided which I don't think was on the listing. We'd brought our own as the cottage we stayed in a week before didn't have that stuff. Having the aga made the kitchen and our baby's room above it nice and toasty and we'd never cooked on one before, which was fun and it cooked everything beautifully. Next time we come to the Dales we'll hope to book this cottage again!

This is a comfortable, clean and well-equipped cottage and well placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

What an amazing week! Beautiful surroundings with stunning views whether you are up on the tops or down in the valleys. The house was wonderful - well equipped with everything you could need and with a range of comfortable areas to relax in - although we seemed to keep migrating to the wonderful sunroom or the patio area. Thanks for the wonderful welcome pack - especially the large tub of Yorkshire crisps!! Thank you also for the very quick return of our dog’s harness which you noticed we’d left behind.

A charming, spotless, well-equipped cottage owned by a very helpful lady. We moved there midweek following an unhappy experience at another property and could not have been more fortunate. Cracoe is well-placed for exploration of the Dales and it was a delight to return to Courtyard Cottage at the end of our days' visits.

Delightful cottage well equiped, very welcoming and generous owners. Superbly located for exploring Wharfedale. The only probem is cottage is adjacent to the main Skipton/Grasmere Road which is used by HGVs all day and night. Conseqently our sleep was disturbed resulting in us leaving a day early. This was a great pity as otherwise the cottage was perfect.
