The location was fantastic and the beaches were wonderful, however the cottage was neglected and poorly maintained. The boiler was leaking and a plumber had to come out, the towel rail in the bathroom kept falling off, other general maintenance jobs needed doing and it needed a deep clean! It could be so lovely with some TLC!

Is a lovely comfortable cottage. The only noise was coming from the cows and sheep in the surrounding fields. In my opinion the only downside is there are beds to sleep 6 but comfy seating in the Lounge and dining room for 4 people!

A lovely cottage in a idyllic setting and very peaceful, just what we were looking for, for our mini break. The cottage was clean and well equipped and had a small garden at the back which was great for our 2 year old daughter to play in. We'd definitely stay here again.

What can I say? Cowslip cottage was immaculately presented, with beautiful decor to a high standard. Everything had been thought through and the little touches (fantastic children’s book selection, board games, dvds, all the crockery and equipment you could possibly want and use of a selection of bikes in the outhouse) were just lovely. The log burner is a highlight and makes the cottage incredibly cosy. The view from our bedroom stretched across open countryside - a joy on New Year’s Eve with fireworks over a huge distance! And the contained gardens were fantastic for our dog. The spot is great too... off the beaten track but with everything you could want 5 minutes drive away. We just loved it here and can’t wait to return!
