No smoking. \nIn an elevated position overlooking Oban this single-storey contemporary apartment is a mere 5-minute walk from the bustling town centre making it an ideal holiday base for touring Argyll. From the front of the grounds there are magnificent views of the harbour and from the rear McCaigs Folly is a spectacular sight. Oban is known as the ‘Seafood Capital of the UK’ and has a leisure centre cinema good selection of shops pubs and restaurants. Nearby for the outdoor enthusiasts there are numerous forest walks cycle tracks and an abundance of wildlife surrounded by stunning countryside. Thrill seekers can enjoy a sea safari trip to catch a glimpse of dolphins whales and eagles as well as the famous Corryvrekan Whirlpool. Ferry trips can be taken from the port of Oban to the nearby islands of Mull Iona and Staffa. Other activities found locally include go-karting riding sailing fishing and golf.     Fabulous apartment well equipped. Private parking space. Would recommend!!! The only downside is that is on top of a steep hill - could be a problem if you’re not mobile.

    Lovely scrupulously clean, well equipped apartment. Three minor quibbles/things to be aware of. The owners left us a very decent bottle of wine and some lovely chocolates to enjoy, but a pint of milk would have been nice, we were gasping for a cuppa when we arrived, first place I've stayed in which didn't have one. The bedroom window opens onto the bottom of the road up to Mccaigs Tower. The tourists start early and often noisily and don't quit 'til late. You're quite a long way up. Makes for a great view from the car park, but if you're elderly or infirm that hill up from town is going to be a killer.

    Craigard apartment is in a prime location for the tremendous view over Oban Bay towards Kerrera Island with the Isle of Mull as a backdrop. It is necessary to take a few steps around the outside of the building to admire the view but there was ample space to take a chair on a nice day or evening. From the bedroom window there was a view of McCaigs tower, illuminated at night. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable but would benefit from a washer/dryer as it was difficult to dry washing, except by placing on an airer outside when the weather was suitable. Note that it is a steep climb on the adjacent road to the town centre or there is a path with 140 steps! The allocated parking space would be awkward for a large car. If you are not concerned by the difficulties of access, then we would highly recommend the apartment for a comfortable stay with its superb views from just around the corner.

    Lovely apartment, clean warm and comfortable, quiet area but only a couple of minutes stroll to the town with all its amenities. Three good supermarkets within a 10 minute walk for those who self cater. The owner was very courteous and contacted me half way through the holiday to check everything was ok which was appreciated. Would highly recommend.

    This apartment was located in an ideal position for exploring Oban. The apartment was clean,cosy and very well equiped. The bed was comfy is is important to me. Oban is a beautiful town with plenty of walking to be done.
