Our 2nd visit to Craigenrae, we had another fantastic week ...the owners have thought of absolutely everything - right down to spare dog ? drying towels! There’s plenty of space both inside and out for a fab family holiday - wet or dry! The downfall this year was the midges - they were swarming and even managed to fill one of the bedrooms on our first night...there were so many it looked like the walls were moving, ant the room was unusable for the night? We had a couple of sunny days at the coast along Luce Bay ...one of our favourite places to visit ? ... would definitely go back, but out of midge season. We’ve made some happy family memories here ?

We had a nice week but we were expecting walks from the door with the photos of the cottage being surrounded by lots of fields, but it was to marshy to walk on would have ended up braking something if we had tried.

A fantastic base for four adults and their three dogs. We didn't expect fantastic local amenities as we wanted to be at the back of beyond. An excellent base to explore from. Despite the awful weather we had a lovely time.

Stunning house with incredible views! Very remote, took half an hour to get to the nearest food store! Great walks straight from the property and Merrick is only a short drive away. If you like to escape the hustle and bustle this is the place to go!
