The cottage was warm and comfortable in peaceful surroundings well situated with pubs and a village shop nearby. The welcome pack contained a good variety of useful items and was much appreciated.

Lovely cottage, well maintained and very clean. Great location: Burley has some nice tourist type shops, a lovely local store and several pubs and tea rooms. The cottage is a short walk to all these amenities, down a private road, so little or no traffic noise. Cycle hire is available in the village which is a great way to explore the local area. A little group of ponies wander around in the lane and Burley which is nice and they are no trouble.

We had a lovely holiday. Cottage is a minute's walk away from the centre of the village. Couldn't fault the cottage at all. Everything has been catered for, owner even left us brownies. Brilliant!

We enjoyed our stay at Craigwen Cottage however we did feel that the cottage would struggle to serve 6 people comfortably - we felt a bit cramped with 3 adults, 2 dogs and one 5 month old baby. Unfortunately the showers are not very efficient - i.e hardly any water pressure hence just a dribble, the upstairs bathroom is very narrow. The entrance in can be a bit tricky with a large car - best to reverse in.

A pretty, comfortable cottage in the heart of a lovely village. Central for exploring the New Forest. The only down side was the lack of water pressure in the shower. Very relaxing and peaceful. Hope to return.

A well equipped and well designed pretty cottage. A welcome feel and comfotable with all amenities tough the second double bedroom is rather small with a rather narrow bed. Probably best suited to a very slim couple. The garden is a pleasure especially the pretty summer house. The village of Burley is excellent for local shoooing and there are many great walks.
