The apartment has been furnished in a contemporary style and overlooks one of the oldest Anglo-Saxon churches in York. Visitors will enjoy a very comfortable and convenient base from which to explore the ancient city of York which is steeped in history with its numerous museums historical buildings cobbled streets and city walls. Visit the iconic Minster wander along The Shambles climb Clifford’s Tower or cruise along the River Ouse. York is where you can step back in time and discover how the Vikings lived. It is also home to the greatest railway museum in the country and the most exciting racecourse. Shoppers will not be disappointed as there’s an abundance of fantastic independent shops. York is one of the best gastronomic destinations with delectable restaurants trendy bars traditional pubs and famous teashops. The surrounding area offers many attractions including Castle Howard Beningbrough Hall and Fountains Abbey. The quaint market towns of Helmsley and Pickering are easily accessible as are the North Yorkshire Moors and the sandy beaches at the coastal resorts of Whitby Scarborough and Filey.     No 4 Crambeck Court is a very good apartment which has a gated parking space. We didn't use the car during our stay as it was only 5 - 7 minutes walk into York centre. Only 2 minutes away from a supermarket and restaurants. The place was extremely comfortable and well equipped for either a family of four or four adults. But it is shame that the twin room cannot be made into another double bed for a couple. The headboards are a strange shape so cannot be pushed together. Furnishings are of a high standard. A tv in the twin room would be good. Apart from few minor maintenance issues and a bathroom blind which was in need of replacing, some high up cobwebs and a few marks on the bedding the cleanilness was good. I would stay there again as the above points have been pointed out. I would recommend it.

    It was clean but smelt a bit musty? Lady who met us very helpful. No recycling facilities :( Parking spot very tight! Had a great stay in perfect location.
