Fabulous period house. Beautiful, peaceful location with many walks. Bathrooms very clean. Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable. There were quite a few cobwebs throughout the house and dirty marks on the walls etc including the kitchen cupboards that could easily have been wiped clean Saying that, we absolutely loved our stay at Creag-Ard House, especially cooking on the Aga, lighting the open fire in the lounge and playing pool every evening after dinner. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The perfect location. Just incredible. Lovely big house. Handy for amenities close to Aberfoyle. Great for wildlife. Had red squirrels and pine martin in the garden. Great for local attractions such as Loch Lomond and Callendar. All good. Would definitely recommend it!!!

We had a wonderful week at Creag Ard House. The setting is simply beautiful, and the local area very enjoyable (though you do need to be willing to get out and about). The house itself is very welcoming, and fair to say impressive in size and what it offers. A genuine delight. To offer constructive criticism, I would repeat what we said directly to the owner on a chance brief meeting, in that the house, and in particular the kitchen, could do with some cosmetic updating, which the owner acknowledged. But, in no way does it detract from the beauty or enjoyment of the house. We would go back in a flash, and hopefully will do so next year. May 2019

Great place as a week retreat. Excellent location although a bit of a trek to get to a larger town (this could be a good or bad thing). Limited local shops (although tea shops are excellent). The house did well for a 3 generation family and we would recommend for other visitors!

While just a short break with the extended family and grandsons (one aged 2 years, the other just 16 weeks) we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Creag-Ard House. Drinks by the open log fire in the lounge, dining in the kitchen with the warmth of the aga, bedrooms all en-suite and games room all made the stay so enjoyable. All family members said we should return to Creag-Ard House again, a testament of our stay.
