Lovely been close to Loch Lomand and Luss without the noise of tourists around us in the evening. We visited lots of interesting historical sights, and enjoyed a mixture of culture in major cities and restful visits to water falls and parks.

We had a wonderful stay with Cara & Rich at Creag Darach. The cottage is very comfortable, decorated beautifully, very clean and perfect for a family of four. We used it as a base to get to lots of the Trossachs as well as a day out to Blair Drummond Safari Park. Cara & Rich were very helpful, being there on arrival and departure and made sure we had everything we needed. Cara even arranged a horse riding booking for our children at a local trekking centre. The large back garden was much appreciated, though the family was sufficiently worn out by day trips not to need it by the time we got home. There's a large supply of books and games in the living room and a well-equipped kitchen that made self-catering for the full week very easy.
