Had a great week the cottage was really lovely very clean well stocked the location is great lovely walks and so easy for touring the dales. Loved the wood burning stove and the welcome basket and Sunday newspaper was very nice. Stayed 13 Sep to 20th. Would definitely stay at Cringley Cottage again.

Absolutely brilliant. A lovely, well equipped cottage in a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales. Would highly recommend and would certainly book again with no hesitation.

We had a very good holiday visiting the area that we had walked a number of years ago. Just one or two points. We could not find Instructions for Recycling. The non recyclable was put out as directed it was not collected probably the bin provided was not of the standard required Some of the information in the folder was out of date. The sheets and towels should have been changed mid week. We were directed to look for items in the shed,it was a tip and did not give a good impression. We hope these notes are helpful and should not be taken as criticism

Lovely central location cottage comfortable and has good amenities. Would go back again

The cottage is lovely, having been restored with both care and taste. We also enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to use and we appreciated the welcome hamper. It is one of the best holiday cottages we have rented. We did not experience problems with parking on the street but can see that it could be a problem in high season. A washing machine would be useful in the wet weather. However, we had a gloriously sunny week. Askrigg has everything you need for a week with its shop, deli, two pubs and a hotel with restaurant. Walks are on the doorstep or not much further afield. No need to leave the Dale.

Lovely standard and comfortable. Only downside is that there is no private parking. You have to find a place to park on the Main Street which isn't ideal.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday at Cringley Cottage. The village location was excellent! We enjoyed the log burner. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch.

Lovely cottage, very well maintained. Nice arrival basket. Askrigg is a really nice village and a nice starting point to get out and see some of the scenic views of Yorkshire.
