Excellent cottage in a lovely location. Thought parking might be an issue but wasn't. Only marked down because WiFi wasn't working while we were there. Would happily stay there again

We stayed at the Crows Nest for a few days in mid September. This charming cottage is situated down a small loke off the High Street. The location is right in the heart of the village within easy walk of the pubs and shop etc. The property is very cosy, a basic one up, one down layout which works well for two people. The one room downstairs is a kitchen, a small table and a comfy sofa. Upstairs is the one bedroom, with a very comfy bed and a shower room/toilet. The power shower was really good. The kitchen while, being compact had everything we needed. Reading the visitors book, it appears that we were not the only people to discover that the Wi Fi does not work properly. We hope the owners can get this rectify this matter as it can be a big disappointment to many people. On arrival we found a complementary bottle of wine waiting for us, which we thought was a nice touch. A little tip, if you are a National Trust member you can park at the quayside car park for free by scanning your membership card instead of paying £5 per day in the Pay and Display car park further up the High Street.

The crows nest was amazing needs a few small maintenance fixes but everything else was perfect for a romantic get away.

Enjoyed staying in the cottage but should have realised there was not an enclosed area for our dogs. The hedge outside Hollhock Cottage was overgrown ad made it difficult to walk by with 2 dogs. The blind in the main area window was broken and I reported it immediately but no one came back to me. However we had a very enjoyable few days. These few gripes did not spoil our stay. We will come again but would look for a bigger cottage with your company.

A nicely appointed but compact cottage near to amenities. Some elements in need of attention such as the immersion heater which produced ‘boiling’ water! Perfectly placed for walking the North Norfolk coastal path. Parking within 100 yards at the quay but watch out for tide times if leaving car there overnight.

Excellent location and a lovely clean cosy cottage. My one complaint is that you couldn’t open any windows in any rooms as they were painted shut,so found it hard to sleep as the bedroom was too warm, as was the lounge. Couldn’t leave the door open as flies were coming into the kitchen.

Lovely clean well equipped cottage . Perfect for two people. Lovely walks close by. No need for a car. Lots of dog friendly places to eat. Only criticism of the cottage was that it got very warm and couldn’t open the windows. Otherwise everything was lovely. The bottle of wine was a nice touch ?

Lovely little cottage and location, we would happily stay again. The only little irritating thing was that the carpark only takes change not bank cards, so make sure you arrive with change!

Lovely cottage we really enjoyed spending new year here. The cottage is small but lovely and cosy. It is really clean and very well equipped. The location is great but there is no parking this would be a problem in the summer but not in the winter. All in all a great stay highly recommend

We loved the Crows Nest Cottage for xmas, but unfortunately we only managed 3 nights there. We parked our car in the National Trust carpark by the quayside, unaware that the tide can play funny tricks. The tide must have come in during the night and flooded the inside of our car, and as a consequence it is now a right off.....we never really got to spend too much time in the cottage,as we were towed home. Be warned. Cottage lovely

Sweet cottage, perfect for two, comfortable with all the facilities one could want for a few nights stay. Plenty of hot water and logs for the fire. The bottle of wine was a thoughtful gesture and appreciated. Blakeney is a lovely location and we were lucky enough to be there when the parish council put on a bonfire and firework display which was very enjoyable. The wonderful weather helped to make the week-end very special indeed. Negatives: loading and unloading the luggage was a bit stressful as had to rely on goodwill of people in car behind waiting whilst suitcases were put on pavement before car was parked in nearby car park. Also would be great if bedroom window could be eased (as it is stuck fast with paint) to enable it to be opened so fresh air can come in to the room. Overall a really nice stay, loved the cottage, location and local amenities and would return and recommend. Thank you.
