Visit Wales 4 Star.\n\n\n Roughly equidistant between the north and south coasts of Gower Three Crosses lies in Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and forms the setting for these lovingly renovated listed 18th-century properties which have won prestigious awards namely the Lord Mayor Design Award Wales regional winner for Built in Quality Design Award and the Gower Society Award. Originally comprising the buildings of the only farm in the village they offer holiday accommodation of a very high standard blending modern facilities with old world charm have wi-fi internet access and lie close to the 18th-century village pub serving good food.\nStretching from the pretty thriving village of Mumbles on the western edge of Swansea Bay the south coast offers many opportunities for water sports with beautiful sandy beaches further along the coast to the jewel of Rhossilli and a 22-mile coastal path rewards walkers with some of the most stunning scenery in Wales. Taking on a more wild and rugged look the north coast stretches from Llangennith along miles of deserted sandy beaches and follows the Loughor Estuary. Beautiful walks abound in inland Gower which boasts three Norman castles and spectacular views of the north and south coasts can be admired from Cefyn Bryn – the spine of Gower. The Rhossilli Downs overlook the beach towards Worms Head – reached by a causeway at low tide. Home to 4 golf courses one a few hundred yards from Crwys Farm Gower also has surfing beaches at Llangennith and Langland pony trekking and excellent fishing. For a change of tempo the city of Swansea beckons. Home of Dylan Thomas Swansea with its cinema bowling indoor leisure facilities has the largest indoor market in Wales and boasts an excellent maritime quarter containing the Welsh Maritime Museum as well Plantasia. Travelling west towards the rugby town of Llanelli the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust is a must for bird-watchers and the Millennium Coastal Park makes an excellent cycling venue leading to Pembrey Country Park with woodland and 7-mile sandy beach. Further afield are Cardiff Tenby Dan yr Ogof Caves and the Brecon Beacons with the Pembrokeshire coast also easily accessible. The Dairy is a lovely cottage oozing with character. The welcome pack and flowers were a lovely touch as were the very comfortable beds. Though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there were several aspects associated with equipment and facilities that did not match our expectation. Its the little things that makes the difference. The upstairs shower room towel rail was cold as was the down stairs bathroom radiator ( hot on the bottom cold on the top ); the entrance hallway radiator was paint stripped and rusty in places; cooker extractor light was not working; only 5 cups and one of those was badly stained; no small glass tumblers; the only small frying pan available was bashed, disgusting and covered in grease as was the oven tray. All that to one side, the cottage was very comfortable and our host very welcoming and friendly. We would recommend.

We had a very nice time the cottage was very comfortable for two couples and a dog as it also had a garden. Big TV in sitting room but we could have done with a four bread toaster and bigger frying pan and also a wok would have come in handy other wise it had everything else you would need for a comfortable stay.

Absolutely loved it here - excellent for our dog too - very comfy and cosy - lovely back garden area with patio door access - wonderful - well placed to visit everywhere on the Gower - we’ll be back :)
