We very much enjoyed our stay at Cuil Lodge. The accommodation was spacious and well-equipped. As a group of six adults, we appreciated having 3 bathrooms. The local pub/restaurant served excellent food and drinks. The drive to Oban wasn't too long and was along a beautiful road. The wider area was lovely.

I am a person who studies reviews a lot but does not write them. This cottage is absolutely top knotch the photos do not do justice to the large airy clean charismatic rooms. This is place that easily caters for a large family and dogs with more than enough space for all. The cottage is set with hills all around and a handy local shop next door absolutely perfect with an open log burning fire to welcome you home and a heldful owner there to meet any additional requests

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cuil Lodge. We were warm and comfortable, but thought some of the soft furnishings were a bit tired. Hoover could do with upgrading.

Spacious, warm, comfortable, and well equipped - ingredients which made our stay at Cuil Lodge delightful. Our dog loved having her bed in the large utility room and the huge covered porch is perfect for removing muddy boots. The back porch and downstairs cloakroom are a real asset as is the fenced garden and the front gates which can be closed (ideal for the dog). Although on the main road, traffic noise is minimal - in fact the river at the side of the house makes more noise! The adjacent village shop is currently being refurbished to a high standard to include the sale of wine and local produce and it has a small delightful cafe on it's first floor. The bar in the village pub/hotel is a hive of activity and their meals are good. I have just recommended Cuil Lodge to some friends and we very much hope to return.
