There’s a lovely large garden too, perfect for al fresco dining.

It’s just a short drive to the nearest town of Llanrwst in the Conwy Valley where you’ll find a range of individual shops and a supermarket, plus a beautiful bridge spanning the River Conwy, with an historic tearoom adjacent. Just to the south of Llanrwst is the Ffin y Parc art gallery, whilst at Betws-y-coed, the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, you’ll find more walking opportunities and more outdoor clothing shops than you can shake a stick at. Betws-y-coed is also the home of Zip World Fforest, where you can try the exhilarating Fforest Coaster or other exciting activities that will take your breath away. The historic walled town of Conwy is also nearby – here you can walk round the almost complete town walls, capture mighty Conwy Castle, visit the smallest house in the UK, or take a boat trip out into the Conwy Estuary to see the local sealife. As if that wasn’t enough, the beautiful National Trust garden at Bodnant is well worth a visit, whilst the ’Queen of Welsh Resorts’, Llandudno, is also within easy reach. Beach 15¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 5 miles.

A lovely cottage with stunning views in a very peaceful location. Great for driving to local sites such as Snowdon, Llandudno, Anglesea, Llanberis etc and a good base for exploring North Wales. If you want to get away from it all then this is most definitely the place to do it. Kitchen is well equipped - some of the items could do with testing/replacing but I'm sure these things get looked at regularly. Very handy to get a supermarket delivery too as the nearest shop is a fair distance away. Lovely to have a welcome hamper of Welsh Cakes and tea bags too. Wifi is a great addition too. Bathroom is fine, shower is a little on the weak side, but that's not the end of the world - it does the job. The conservatory is a great place to sit and watch the world go by, you'll never be bored of that view either (even saw some fast jets). On a clear day you can see the mountain range in the distance and in the mornings when the mist gathers in the valley, it is simply stunning. The garden is secure for dogs that don't jump too high or are small enough to climb through. Our spaniel loved all the good sniffs on offer! There are also dog bowls so no need to take your own. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and to be honest apart from the occasional farm traffic you won't see many people or cars in the area! bliss! no neighbours! (yay!) There aren't many footpaths that go straight from the property, you will need to be prepared to get in the car and drive to go for a good walk, but this isn't really an issue. (just be wary of the satnav taking you down the narrowest of lanes at times - which is unnecessary!) All in all - If you enjoy peace, quiet, relaxation and to get away from it all then please do visit this great cottage! it has everything you need, is in a good location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park - and best of all is cosy and inviting.

Cwm Bychan is a nice cottage situated in a beautiful location with panoramic views of the welsh countryside and on clear days views of Snowdon. The location of this property is ideal if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of towns/cities and the daily commute and just Relax! Sit outside and enjoy the views, enjoy the peace and quiet that the location of this property has to offer. It is peaceful outside besides the odd farm vehicle the only noises you will hear is the bleating of sheep. The cottage is comfortable and welcoming and well laid out with a large corner sofa in the living room and a Freesat tv/dvd player. The living area and kitchen is an open plan arrangement and features a table with four chairs, whilst the kitchen has the usual appliances you would expect to have. The cottage also features Wifi and has a landline provided. The cottage has two bedrooms, one has a double bed and the other room has two single beds and both rooms have some storage. We all found the beds to be comfortable. The owner provides a welcome book full of information regarding the property and useful information about the nearby villages and places to visit. The home owner also provides a "Welcome Package" which is a nice touch with some Welsh treats inside it. Our family group really enjoyed our stay in this cottage and we would highly recommend others to come and enjoy what this cottage and Wales has to offer.
