Cwm is set in a remote and beautiful location at the base of a mountain so the scenery and views are fantastic. Although I would recommend that a new photo is posted as all the trees shown in the background have all been chopped down. It is the ideal location to get away from the everyday stresses of life, because the Wifi is poor and most of the channels on the Sky box are unavailable. Thank goodness for the pool table and table tennis and the roaring fires were a real treat. It is clearly stated that dogs are not allowed upstairs, but I marked it down on cleanliness as this has obviously not been followed. When we first arrived the smell in the upstairs carpets was overpowering and we immediately went out and purchased carpet fresheners to use, which made it bearable for the week. General cleanliness was ok, although there were cobwebs in most rooms especially the lounges. The draws also smelt musty which made our clothes smell. The kitchen/diner is well equipped and modern and was great for family meals together but recommend replacing the itchy woollen mats to sit on. The bedrooms need reorganizing so that the master bedroom, which is the dual aspect room, should have a double bed rather than two singles, as both double bedrooms are tight with little room to move around in. Finally, one of my biggest bugbears was the cleaner turning up 30 minutes before we were due to leave to clean the fires that we had already cleaned. If we have until 10am to leave the property then please leave it to 10am before the cleaners arrive. Overall we had a nice holiday in a cottage with a lot of potential set in a beautiful location.

The house is excellent. It is very spacious and is furnished and equipped to a high standard. It is ideal for a family holiday, we enjoyed the pool tournaments in the evening. We were looking for a remote house in beautiful surroundings and we found it. It is very close to Snowden so ideal for the outdoor types also good walks from the house itself. We would highly recommend it.

This is the 3rd year we have been to Cwm as it is probably the last time all our children will be with us! The memories we have made are fantastic and I can truly recommend this house to any family or group who want to walk, eat well and have fun when relaxing. Very happy with the price, well worth the money.

Fabulous cottage and location only criticism would be shower a bit pathetic needs more pressure and downstairs toilet would be handy maybe from the boot room were there is tons of space. A couple of thing not working during our stay but to be expected rearly I'm sure it's a busy rental.

Lovely old farmhouse in a beautiful location, surrounded by mountain views and sheep. In the middle of Snowdonia Nation Park, in an isolated location, which is it's charm. A short drive to Cafes, pubs and shops but close to walking and climbing routes. We would recommend and hope to stay again.
