The location is just so beautiful, tucked away with the most beautiful view to wake up to. Live the very friendly chickens and pea-hens. Big space for lots of family/friends to spread out and enjoy each others company.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Cwm Howell. Our group comprised of 6 adults and 6 children and there was plenty of room for all. Despite being large, the house was warm and cosy and extremely well equipped. We staying during a week of stormy weather and floods in south Wales but always looked forward to coming back to the house to relax in front of the long burner after days out. The hot tub was a bonus and the chickens and peacocks outside the door every day was lovely. The children loved the tyre swing opposite the house and felt it was a place our kids could feel free and safe. The views from the house are stunning. Would recommend. Only down side is that there is no washing machine which when on holiday for a week in muddy/damp weather with 6 children would have been helpful. Found a launderette in Carmathen and had to go twice during stay.

A very spacious comfortable homely farmhouse with beautiful view. The children especially enjoyed the hot tub. Downsides were the very narrow 2 mile road from the village and the rocky farm track to the farmhouse. We arrived on a very wet day so the parking area was very muddy. There isn't a washing machine or dryer so trying to dry wet towels was an issue for 12. The description said one basket of logs would be provided. This was not the case and the local garage did not have any. I assume logs are available only during winter months as with the Rayburn which was not lit and the oven was small; a challenge when cooking for 12 people. Despite these minor hiccups the holiday was lovely.

We stayed here with 2 other families for a long weekend. The house is set in a beautiful location on a working farm. There is a massive kitchen with a large kitchen table. plenty of room for us all. the kids loved the resident peacocks and the large private garden.
