Lovely cottage, very clean and everything you need. ideal for a couple. Views are fantastic and hot tub is great. The cottage is on the top of a hill so a walk down some steep steps to get to the town but only takes a few minutes, parking is on the road which is a bit hit and miss with getting a space especially at peak times. the access code to the gate takes some getting used to. But overall a lovely cottage and would stay there again.

Amazing cottage, really clean, modern and comfortable. Hot tub was perfect! Over £350 for one night when you can’t check in till after 4pm (and they refuse to budge on this) is too expensive but the place itself is great.

Super cottage for short breaks only. The LUXURY category is misleading - “quirky” best description. Parking for two or three nights is passable and manageable. The inconvenience of unloading several different clothing outfits/two weeks food and drink/holiday gear etc.from a distance led to a police warning and ticket. Cottage needs to supply residents with some cleaning materials such as a dustpan and brush/only plastic glassware available!/very little privacy outside. We had an excellent holiday and the owner was most helpful. A welcome pack should be included. Thank you

The views, quality of interior finish and of course the hot tub make this an outstanding cottage. The only downside is that finding roadside parking on The Robery can be a challenge.

A reasonably comfortable and well equipped 'cottage' apartment with great views over Whitby In particular the water front area with the replica of Captain Cook's ship very prominent. The adjacent hot tub provides a warm and soothing experience - but broke down half way through our stay. However the main drawback is that there are approximately 30 steps from the nearest road way down to the entrance to the cottage apartment. This means carrying luggage etc by hand over a great many steps from where cars may be parked. Also there are no designated car parking spaces. Accordingly it is only by good chance that a parking space may be found within a reasonable distance. A well kept accommodation in an interesting location but with access suitable only for the active and able bodied.
