At the time the Cyder Press Barn was constructed the area was festooned with apple orchards. It has been carefully converted to allow for maximum space and light this superb barn has been tastefully and stylishly furnished throughout. During its renovation it was discovered that the barn had originally had wooden floors indicating that it was built to process apples and not house animals. There are many charming features such as original solid wood doors woodwork craftsmanship vaulted beamed ceiling in the living room with a huge feature clock and a wood burner to snuggle in front of in the colder months. There is also a double sofa-bed in the living room that is ideal for children or additional guests. The kitchendining room is spacious and well-equipped and the downstairs shower room boasts a large shower cubicle sink and toilet. Upstairs in the former hayloft the generous-sized bedroom has an en-suite toilet and features a sloping ceiling and wooden beams. Guests have the added benefit of a welcome pack on arrival. There is private gated parking available for two cars and direct access onto a large lawned enclosed garden with a sitting-out area and barbecue. As the apple orchards went into decline the barn was converted to house horses probably sometime after the Great War and continued to do so until the late 1980s to early 1990s.\nYou will not be short on things to do in this popular area. Ringwood has a good selection of shops cafés and pubs. Ringwood Brewery which offers regular tours is well worth a visit The nearest pub is a characterful thatched inn just a 5-minute walk away. There is also a leisure centre with a 25m indoor pool and a children’s soft play area.\nThe New Forest is less than a 5-minute drive away and provides miles of scenic walks and a network of bridle paths cycle tracks local bike hire available and footpaths with roaming ponies deer cattle. Close by Avon Heath Country Park offers walking trails with unique and rare wildlife. Just outside Ringwood the New Forest Waterpark has wakeboarding kayaking water skiing and an inflatable aquapark. We had a great time at this fantastic place. Great owners, lovely garden and a lovely place to stay. The quality of the accommodation is 5*. We look forward to staying here again in the future. I would definitely recommend Cyder press Barn.

We had the best week in this beautiful barn conversion. Even though situated behind the owners house we felt we were in a barn on it's own. The barn itself is beautifully done. The local amenities were only a short distance from the barn. The only thing that let it down as the wifi signal was terrible but, that is not something that the owners can do anything about. All in all, we would love to visit this barn and local area again.

Superbly converted barn in a wonderful part of the country. We had a fantastic break exploring the New Forest and would certainly recommend staying in the barn.

Beautiful barn conversation. Comfortable and well equipped. Very friendly hosts and nice welcome pack. Location is great. Not far from any of the main tourist attractions and so much to do in the New Forest.

I wish we could say that we had an enjoyable stay at the barn-unfortunately we didn't. Pros: very clean, well equipped, comfortable beds and good quality bed linens, good connection to the all main roads and activities. Cons:not dog friendly as advertised, our dog had to stay indoors most of the time as owners daughters dog had a full reign of the garden(quite aggressive). On the last day our dog was bitten by the owners dog and we had to take him to the emergency vets.Privacy in the garden with owners washing line full of underwear, and owner walking up and down all the time.Wi fi is useless,so you can't stream or even watch smart tv without interruption. Overall very disappointed with our stay.
