This former weavers cottage dates back to circa 1912 and as such has a wealth of character features, including exposed stone walls, beams and stone flagged floors in the kitchen. With a totally enclosed rear patio overlooking a stream, it makes for the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Carefully furnished, co-ordinated and decorated, it has a lovely homely atmosphere enhanced by a wood burner, ideal for cosy nights in by the fire. Set in the village of Kelbrook just 9 miles from the bustling market town of Skipton, with its Norman castle standing proudly at the head of a wide sweeping cobbled high street. Here you will find a museum, canal trips, golf course, indoor swimming pool and a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a train station for trips to Leeds.Heading into Lancashire there is the market town of Clitheroe, equally pretty and again offering a castle and museum, shops, pubs and restaurants. For those who like walking and cycling, there are walks from the door and the nearby Trough of Bowland and Forest of Bowland, together with the Yorkshire Dales National Park will leave you spoilt for choice. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
