This is in a spot on location for most activities that you may want to do and Reg the owner could not be more helpful if he tried.

The cottage is on the edge of Snowdonia. If self catering, bear in mind that big supermarkets are some distance away. Independent and smaller chains are more accessible. Quiet location, off road parking, TV, wifi and phone signal.

The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed to self cater. The location was ideal and very close the the main A5 We did have a lovely week although cold. The heating never reached the wished for 18 degrees in the dining room or kitchen and felt rather chilly. The underfloor heating in these rooms just weren't adequate. Although the lounge and upstairs were lovely and warm if not too warm during the night. We found it very costly to buy logs to try and subsidise the lack of heat in the dining room.

Had a great week at Dalar Deg. A quiet, comfortable cottage that had everything we needed. It was ideally situated for some stunning walks only a short drive away. September sunshine and blue skies were the icing on the cake.
