Lovely cottage set in nice quiet surroundings. Reasonably short drive to most places we visited. Pub & camping shop about a 15 minute walk. Enjoyable stay for 4 nights.

Lovely cottage in a super country environment. Great garden for children or dogs. Had a lovely few days with the family

    The cottage was lovely

First class cottage, modern kitchen and bath rooms with character and space throughout. Highly recommended for family or friends up to 6 people. Peaceful setting and close to the village.

Lovely cottage, well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The rural setting is lovely but car needed to get to shops (there is a local one for opening hours are quite variable) and places of interest. Also, we thoroughly enjoyed the garden and had it all to ourselves during our stay; don’t think we would have enjoyed sharing it with the adjoining cottage very much. Overall though, it was excellent and suited the 3 generations of our family very well and would definitely stay there again. ?

A fabulous cottage in a perfect location!!

    out of 10

A great place to stay for a large group (there were 12 of us) when combined with Dale Barton. Plenty of space, 7 toilets between the 2 cottages (very welcome for people of a certain age!!). Beautiful kitchens/bathrooms and as clean as a whistle! Cosy and warm due to the underfloor heating! Very well equipped with everything you would need (as far as I am concerned anyway!).

We had a fantastic stay at Dale Cottage , I would definitely recommend this property . Very handy for Wooky Hole and Cheddar Gorge. Great local pub .

Lovely cottage in a peaceful rural setting. Had a good weekend visiting Wells and Glastonbury. The extra seating in the garden room was useful and perfect for the dogs and their beds. Good local pub and plenty of walks.

Lovely spacious cottage for 6 adults and two Border Collies. Everything we needed. We were there in January so couldn’t make the most of the garden room and the outside space, but it was very convenient for the dogs. There are no shops within walking distance for newspapers etc, but Wells is only about 6 miles. The location is perfect for walking, with the West Mendip Way just at the bottom of the lane and lots of other paths in the area. Great rural cottage.

Very comfortable warm and cosy cottage. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 dogs inside and out in the large garden. Appreciated logs for wood burner on arrival. Walks straight from the cottage and The Queen Victoria in the village for pub suppers 1/2 mile away.

Had a wonderful few days with family. Loved the cottage. Loved Wells and the Cheddar Gorge.

    out of 10

We loved our stay here. We took our 2 children (2&5) and they loved it. The garden is huge, good for a run around for them and for the dog. The cottage itself was beautiful and cosy, really clean and everything you needed was there. There is a farm shop and local campsite shop in Priddy but you can't guarantee it has what you need. However there is a Sainsbury's in Cheddar which is about 10mins away or a Tescos in Wells again about 10mins away. We will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic short break in a stunning place, looking forward to going back very soon.

We spent 12 nights in this cottage. This was a base as we were attending our daughter’s wedding. 6 of us stayed and we had our 2 dogs with us too. The cottage was absolutely perfect, every need was catered for. It was comfortable and clean. I would also stay there in the winter as there was under floor heating and a large wood burner. What a brilliant holiday we had
