This is a great cottage, clean, spacious, decorated well and with everything you could possibly need in a home from home stay. We went with friends and our children as 2 families and it’s was a lovely weekend break. Central to all the locations t we had planned to visit but still in a remote country location in a lovely village. Perfect.

Dale Cottage is warm, cosy and very well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break away (including a bottle opener). Although the cottage is old, the interior decor is high spec and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area is great for dogs and had the weather been warmer, we would have enjoyed meals outside at the picnic table. I'm very much looking forward to visiting again!

Six of us stayed here recently and found the cottage extremely comfortable and beautifully warm. The kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend. We enjoyed a good lunch at the Castle of Comfort at East Harptree. We enjoyed walking round the village and it as easy to get to Wells and Glastonbury. Highly recommend. We booked so we could take a dog and I think it would have been suitable but unfortunately the dog was unwell so we cannot comment on that aspect.

We had a short 3 night break here as visiting family nearby. The cottage was brilliant for our family of three couples and one 7 year old. Plenty of space and well equipped. Unfortunately not enough time to explore the immediate area and the weather was not on our side, but would certainly choose this cottage again for a longer break.

We were on holiday with our son and his 4 children aged 8 to 13 plus our little dog. Dale Barton suited us all very well - excellent farm building conversion offering spacious accommodation, secure outdoor space and a downstairs bedroom and ensuite for us. Very convenient for exploring Wells, Wookey Hole, Cheddar etc.

Our family had a great time here... 3 generations of us! The local are is so pretty with lots of walks to go on. You travel out that little bit further for the main supermarket facilities which is a short drive. For the kids, the beach is a little over half an hour which was fine for us to make a day of it. Mobile service and WiFi were intermittent at the cottage which helped us older ones unwind and the children did still make use of the Xbox we took with us. Helen, who owns the cottage had thought of everything so if you arrived with nothing, you would still be able to have a cuppa before shopping. All the bits you'd have in your own kitchen you would find here and standard of cleanliness is amazing! The pictures online don't give the cottage credit... it is far bigger and more cosier than the photo's show... We loved it... Thank You 😊
