I think we were the first rental of the year, it took a good 24 hours to heat through the cottage. Once it warmed up all was good.

The house was beautifully presented and cleanliness was to a high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The only thing we would like in the future would be a small supply of tea/coffee and milk for our arrival as I always find it a nice personal touch and the local shop is not always open. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely cottage, set in a superb location. Furnished and equipped to a high standard. Was spacious enough for us and our two daughters....was a shame to leave! Highly recommended - plus the same owners have the cottage next door (Dale View) if there are more people in your group!

Nice comfy cottage with good Wi-fi, needed when no phone signal or 4G! Well equipped kitchen. For two of us it was ideal, would be but squished for 4 adults. Location ideal with great views and plenty of walks from the door. Although no private parking there was plenty of space by the national trust barn only yards from front door. Local food at the pub and tea rooms was excellent.

Situated in an excellent spot for walkers and sightseers. Calm and friendly. Well-maintained cottage with front and back gardens. Efficient communication from owners. Would definitely recommend.

No coffee, No tea, no sugar, no biscuits, not enough bog rolls, not enough cling film, some dust. Didn't find Netflix till near end of stay as not in instructions. Instructions not very good. Car parking not very good - suggest their buy a space in the near by car park. Apart from these minor problems the cottage was wonderful.

We enjoyed three relaxing weeks with pleasant walks round a stunning countryside staying in this comfortable cottage where we always enjoyed coming back to in the evening. The holiday flat did provide everything we needed and the locals esp. the housekeeper, neighbours and the shop keeper were all very nice and helpfull. The same is true for the owner living abroad who always stayed in touch, if needed. It's a great place to stay and relax and we would be glad to come back.
