Great cottage-lots of room and dog friendly. It was a nice touch to have a dog bed and some dog toys. Amenities in the cottage were generally good, although an iron would have been helpful. Cottage is in a great location for visiting lots of places and Bedale itself is a lovely place for a meander. It was nice to sit out in the garden when the weather allowed. Parking at the cottage was ok for a small car, although reversing out onto the main road took some getting used to.

Dales Pause is a lovely "home from home" property with a secure garden for dogs. The market town of Bedale with its local shops is really inviting and just a few minutes walk away. Whilst the house was clean there were no cleaning products for the kitchen or bathroom - a week is a long time! The parking can be tricky as you need to reverse in to the parking space from a blind corner - local parking is available but if, like my husband, you want to park next to the house it really is a little challenging. The surrounding countryside, market towns and villages are really worth a visit.

Dale’s Pause feels like a ‘family home’ rather than simply a ‘holiday cottage’. It was extremely comfortable, very clean and had everything you could need. Bedale itself is awash with quality pubs, restaurants etc and great walking available nearby. Had a great time. Thank you!
