The owners are very friendly & helpful. The welcome pack they left for us was a life saver as we arrived very late in the evening. The cottage was very clean & was stocked with everything we could possibly need during our stay. Fabulous.

This was a lovely, spotlessly clean cottage. The owners were really friendly (left a lovely welcome pack for us) and always checked that we had everything we needed whenever we saw them. We were on holiday with our children and grandchildren who loved seeing the cats and chickens roaming around. We wanted to visit Teesdale, Durham, Beamish and Hadrians Wall which were all within reasonable driving time. Hamsterley Forest is 10 minutes away where there are some lovely walks and an amazing play area for children. Kynren is absolutely brilliant for all ages and is a must see if staying here in the summer.
