Non slip bath mats are needed in both bathrooms. Kettle leaked and was dangerous. We have had this property several times and enjoy the large garden

Stayed here for a week commencing 12th july 19 , lovely rental cottage , could do with a little spruce up of paint, but was clean and tidy upon arrival and didn’t spoil holiday , read reviews before we left and was a bit concerned about en suite shower, but was supplied with extra towels to lay down on floor and was assured that works were going to be carried out shortly to rectify the issue with shower screen , did encounter a slight problem with no hot water but caretaker did arrive promptly and solved issue , was also told that works were going to be carried out to spruce the cottage up . Well equipped with everything needed for stay . Great location for a relaxing holiday . Recieved a lovely welcome gift too which made our stay feel all the more enjoyable , thank you , would recommend and will I’m sure be booking to come back .

We had a lovely holiday. The house was clean and tidy and had all we needed. It is in a good position convenient for shops and restaurants, bars and pubs and touring the local area. Had some good fishing from the garden, just wish the weather was kinder to us. Would recommend.

Comfortable and has a good garden but needs updating. Sofas stained and worn , not a proper shower in main bathroom, circular shower door in en-suite must have broken and has been replaced with a curtain so water goes all over the floor if you don’t put towels down. The shower leaked heavily into the bedroom below , soaking the carpet and we had to call out the caretaker. He put the heater on to try and dry it out , which was rather unsettling.... water and electricity?!?!? We left a day early .House looks out over ‘The Shed’ pub and several scruffy boats one of which was being renovated while we were there , so noisy sanding and smell of paint . There are much nicer properties on the Peninsular. David’s Island is OK , but not great .

Beautiful location and wonderfully equipped. We had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Great location, about a 10 minute stroll to centre of Wroxham. Kitchen well equipped with full fridge and freezer. Great outdoor space with the private garden and balcony. I would stay here again without hesitation.

We had a great visit, lots to do and a great location. A lovely house. However we were disappointed in the general cleanliness of the property. In particular... A broken bin which we could not close and which leaked, dusty furniture/ doors, dirty/stained duvet cover, only 4 champagne flutes ( not good when the property is booked for 6 people) some cutlery/ crockery was dirty and smelly, only 1 tea towel for the week, no dishcloth, dirty mop, dirty water dispenser in the fridge. However, please can I reiterate that this did not impact on our enjoyment of our trip. I just wanted to let you know.

The cottage is central to the town, great location. The actual cottage is looking a bit tired in places and could do with a refurbishment. Even though clean due to it needing to be refurbished it gave the impression it wasn’t as clean as it could be. Was surprised there were no dishcloths or such to use in kitchen. If had a small refurbishment it would be amazing.

Absolutely brilliant house. I stay away regularly in holiday cottages and was honestly blown away by the owners care of the property and consideration for those staying in it. The house was clean and tidy, as was all of the equipment in it. It was well stocked- we stayed with a baby, 2 kids (6&9) and elderly grandparents and everyone was catered for. The local area was great. The house is right on the water, boat hire companies locally are very reasonable, plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and nice pubs. I would highly recommend.

A lovely house to rent in Wroxham on the river. It was perfect for the six of us. The welcome gifts was a pleasant surprise. It has everything you need and the beds are very comfortable. The house is a 5-10 min walk away from the town, restaurants and local pub. We had a small dog with us and the walks along the river we lovely. The only problem was one of the bedroom lights didn’t work and the bedside lamps in that room were faulty too. We also wished there was more than1 wine glass however it did not spoil our weekend. I would suggest if your mobility is not great you may not want to stay here as the stairs are steep and there is no ground floor toilet, there is also a gravel footpath to the house.

Great house in a great location. Would recommend for a good base for enjoying all the Broads has to offer. Only minor issue was the bed in the main bedroom could have been more comfortable and the pillows were quite hard but really nothing that should stop anyone thinking of booking this great house.

For a long weekend celebrating an 18th birthday, David's Island was an excellent spot. Plenty of space with the garden and decking and great location by the water with the pub opposite.
