It has a contemporary open plan living area and is set over three floors. With waterside access from the garden this is a haven for fishing enthusiasts. Should you wish to hire a day or picnic boat for some of your stay it can be moored in the boat basin by the property.\nWroxham itself has daily boat hire and river trips to enjoy the expanse of waterways as well as plenty of shops waterside restaurants and cafés to enjoy. The train station model village and Wroxham Barns craft centre are located on the edge of the village. For a car-free holiday Wroxham is well-served by trains and buses. The city of Norwich with its cathedral museums theatre cafés and shops is just 8 miles away. BeWILDerwood in Horning offers an outdoor treehouse adventure with zip wires jungle bridges and marsh walks. The area is criss-crossed with numerous footpaths and cycling trails. For keen walkers there is the 61-mile Weavers Way a long distance footpath that winds through the best parts of the Broads from Cromer to Great Yarmouth.     Can't fault anything except lack of working vacuum cleaner and no mop. Fab location. Had all the cooking equipment to make Christmas dinner for 5. Very well stocked with glasses,crockery and cutlery plus pots and pans. Lovely place

    We arrived at the Cottage about 15:30. We inspected the cottage and found that a Mirror had fallen off of an upstairs wall, I telephoned a listed number for maintenance and was answered by an answering machine telling me to call another number, I called that number and it was an answering machine, so I telephoned the owner and he assured me that a maintenance guy would come out, which he did the next morning to rehang the Mirror. Whilst he was there I asked him to look at the heating, as it didn’t seem to be coming on, he reprogrammed the individual radiators. Unfortunately after he left the radiators never ever came on again, fortunately we never had a cold evening. The double bed we slept in had a hard lumpy mattress, but i’ve Slept on worse. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses. The town itself is about a 10 minute walk. The “Kings head” do a decent Sunday lunch, at a reasonable price. Overall we had a good holiday there and I could recommend a stay there, bearing in mind the above comments.

    Very dissapointed. The property is in need of some work. Dishwasher, broken. Shower screen in top bathroom missing and replaced with shower curtain. The shower drains so slowly it overflows within two minuets. You can not therefore use the shower. Sink in top bathroom. The plug sticks down so you can not use running water in it. Most of the ties for the blinds have been pulled out of the walls rendering them useless. Sofa very old and extremely uncomfortable. Seat for the loo in the top bathroom hanging on by a thread. Shame could be a nice property if properly maintained.

    Non slip bath mats are needed in both bathrooms. Kettle leaked and was dangerous. We have had this property several times and enjoy the large garden

    Stayed here for a week commencing 12th july 19 , lovely rental cottage , could do with a little spruce up of paint, but was clean and tidy upon arrival and didn’t spoil holiday , read reviews before we left and was a bit concerned about en suite shower, but was supplied with extra towels to lay down on floor and was assured that works were going to be carried out shortly to rectify the issue with shower screen , did encounter a slight problem with no hot water but caretaker did arrive promptly and solved issue , was also told that works were going to be carried out to spruce the cottage up . Well equipped with everything needed for stay . Great location for a relaxing holiday . Recieved a lovely welcome gift too which made our stay feel all the more enjoyable , thank you , would recommend and will I’m sure be booking to come back .

    We had a lovely holiday. The house was clean and tidy and had all we needed. It is in a good position convenient for shops and restaurants, bars and pubs and touring the local area. Had some good fishing from the garden, just wish the weather was kinder to us. Would recommend.
