Daws House is the perfect home from home, with a comfortable living area and enclosed garden for you to relax in after a day out exploring. There are many activities within easy driving distance, or make use of the public transport. Head to Mudeford beach for romantic scenic walks, or enjoy the breathtaking views from one of the restaurants and cafés along the waterfront. Nearby Christchurch has a quaint high street with unique shops to browse, or you can visit Christchurch Priory, one of the longest parish churches in the country. The New Forest has fantastic walks, or if you are feeling more adventurous you can go treetop climbing. Here, you will also see free roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle.
Bournemouth is close by with its award-winning beach, high street shops, cinema, mini golf and Oceanarium with turtles, penguins and sharks. Further along the coast is Poole, where you can get a boat to the National Trust owned Brownsea Island, which is home to lots of wildlife including red squirrels. During your stay here you should also venture to the Jurassic Coast and spend a day in the beautiful town of Swanage, where you can get a steam train to Corfe Castle. Durdle Door and Lulworth Caste provide some outstanding views. Beach 1 mile. Shop 350 yards, pub ¾ mile and restaurant ½ mile.
