Good quiet location. Well decorated and furnished house. Lots of parking. Could have done with more cutlery and some onsite info about local amenities and walks would have been useful.

    out of 10

Excellent location. Good for large groups requiring 6 bedrooms and for multiple families. Good parking for lots of cars 5 plus. Heating in attic bedroom bathroom and toilet not working. Elsewhere heating fine. Faulty or no locks on toilets. Shower in main bathroom alternating very to cold as water pressure changes. Table football broken. Over all everybody enjoyed the stay.

The property is tired and has an uncared for feel about it. The property was cold. Lack of insulation. Radiators needed bleeding. Shower on first floor was either sorching hot or freezing cold. Shower in basement no water pressure so a dribble. The water from the first floor bath runs across the patio and down the drive due to poor connections to the external gully - no wonder the property has damp issues. Toilets with no sinks to wash hands. There is a constant noise from the pump, which impacts on everyones sleep. Some beds have no headboards. Bedside lights dont reach plugs. Bedroom draws are broken. Kitchen units extemely shabby and in a poor state of repair. Old draw unit used as a plinth. Tiles falling off walls. Dining room chairs too wobbly to risk sitting on. No frying pan! Cheap cutlery. Outside shed door broke and full on dirty old mattresses and bed frames. Moss growing on window ledges. Windows - seals damaged and dirty. Rubbish left by bin. Dirty roasting tray in oven. Grease film across utensils and top of microwave. No folder of house/area information.

Loved our stay and mostly things went well. Just a few points to mention. The heating in the top bedroom never came on so we couldn't use it. Nor did the little annex in the front bedroom so we had to move the children in to the main bedroom. The shower facilities could do with upgrading or adding to as the shower in first floor was either scalding or off and there was only one other in the basement. The kitchen could also do with an upgrade. Otherwise fab, thank you.

Beautiful house and surrounding. A red a bit low for equipment as the House would benefit from an extra bathroom when giving to More than 15 people. The hit water adjustment didn’t work in the family bathroom as it was piping hot . I think it is a small job but need to get looked at . The economy attached to the kitchen would definitely benefit from a wash hand basin even a small one. Overall this is a five star accommodation Could the bedroom have some facility to pick from inside to give some privacy to couples

Family get together for 18. Lovely weekend which helped with the fab weather. The house has a few minor issues with a light switch and kitchen needs a bit of updating but that didnt spoil such a beautiful spacious house.

Excellent location with views of the sea from some rooms and located on a beautiful stretch of coastline not far from Tenby. A nice house perfect for a large get together and would consider using it again. A few small improvements would make it even better - such as a music player, more / better showers and a book of local information (all things that are usually found in other houses we've booked). However, overall it's well worth booking at Deep Meadows.

We spent our Christmas at Deep Meadows and had an enjoyable time. On first impressions, the house was well presented, beautifully decorated and clean. It had a lovely atmosphere and the rooms were large and seemed to have everything we needed for a lovely Christmas. However, on closer inspections, as mentioned in other reviews, the house does need a lot of maintenance. We were surprised there was no Welcome pack or basic store cupboard items eg. salt and pepper (we had forgotten ours). On the first night we had to call maintenance team as the bedroom on the top floor had no heating. They were very prompt in providing us with heaters which we used for the entire stay. We also had an issue with the bed in the same bedroom and we resorted to pulling the mattress onto the floor and sleeping as we felt the bed frame was not stable and was going to break. Needless to say we slept on the floor for our entire stay. There were lots of other issues - broken drawers in a bedroom, mould in the basement shower/toilet, sticking shower door and we had an issue with the drainage in the shower as the external drain was blocked due to leaves and other debris which we had to clean in order to use the shower. On Boxing day, we had no hot water and had to call the maintenance team again who found the issue was due to a sticky switch! The football table in the lower games room was broken and missing the essential item - Ball! We had brought board games with us as there were none provided despite there being two games rooms. The house was a few minutes walk from the beach and as we had good weather we enjoyed walks along the beach. Deep Meadows will be a lovely location for a Summer holiday. It is without doubt that it is a beautiful house but will be better once maintenance issues are sorted. Despite all the issues, we created many happy memories which we will remember for many Christmas's to come.

Just back from a lovely weekend at this cottage. The location was beautiful, just a couple of pubs/restaurants, little shops and a pebble beach a minutes walk down the road so very quiet and relaxed. We could see the sea from the cottage which was nice. First impression of the cottage was ‘wow’. Most of it is beautifully decorated, although you can see the owners are working their way around improving rooms as the kitchen and bathrooms were a little dated. On closer inspection there were a few broken drawers/tiles here and there and mould in the downstairs bathroom but nothing that would put us off coming again. We’re already thinking of booking for next year as the local area had so much to explore. Tenby in particular was very pretty. I would have liked to give 10/10 but we had a couple of issues with cleanliness in some areas and as I say some of it was a little tired but I’m sure it will all be improved by our next visit.

Absolutely fantastic house for a group booking. We were 5 families with small children and this house worked so well. Plenty of space for everyone and a short stroll to the beach and local pubs.

We were 7 men enjoying a week-long walk in Pembrokeshire. Our search for a property in a convenient location with 7 bedrooms was very limited but we came across Deep Meadows and it proved ideal for or purpose. It was roomy, comfortable and had everything we needed and more, plus ample parking. Additionally it was only a short walk to the beach, pubs etc, Ideal.

The heating system was full of air and made a lot of noise when it was on, this would be around midnight when it started. The rooms felt damp exspecially the lower rooms. There was hole in wall where plaster had falling from and had not been cleaned up, old popcorn was under settees in the front room, the football game in play room was broken, one kettle did not work. On positive side the property was spacious and there was tv in all the rooms which pleased the children, the garden was enclosed and it’s just right distance from the beach.
